Huidu HD-C16L asynchronous LED controller
The HD-C16L belongs to Huidu's "C series" (the current edition of a family previously known on the market as the HD-C15C): it combines asynchronous sending and receiving card functions, with a load capacity of 650,000 pixels, 12 HUB75E connectors, 4 GB of memory, 100 Mbps LAN and Wi-Fi. The card also supports remote wireless power on/off, which is useful on outdoor installations that are hard to reach.
Its typical field of use is the lintel sign and advertising display above a shop door, or a smaller outdoor hoarding, where the installer wants to refresh the content through a mobile app or a web interface, without a PC.
Where the HD-C16L sits in an LED wall system
This card shortens the signal path: it combines sending and receiving card functions, so no separate receiving card is needed alongside it. The 12 HUB75E connectors take the modules' ribbon cables directly, while further conventional receiving cards can be chained on the gigabit output if the wall outgrows the card's own ports. The 650,000 pixel load capacity corresponds to one gigabit port's worth. Content arrives over LAN (100 Mbps), 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, USB or an optional 4G module, operation is through the HDPlayer PC software and mobile app, and remote supervision runs on the XiaoHui Cloud platform.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
Because of the 100 Mbps LAN and the more modest 4 GB of memory, the larger A series may be more practical with large, frequently changed video content.
The HD-C16L in practice
Its typical installation is an outdoor lintel display above a shop door, where the card goes behind the wall and can only be reached wirelessly afterwards — which makes getting the Wi-Fi settings and the cloud registration wrong the most expensive mistake here: it cannot be put right without dismantling. The commissioning order: connect in AP mode, change the factory SSID and password, configure the network, set the time zone and the brightness schedule (outdoors 15–25% at night), and finally allocate the HUB ports in HDSet. Its distinct value is remote wireless power on/off, which allows the display to be switched off completely at night — saving more electricity than reducing the brightness does. Only about 2 GB of the 4 GB of storage is usable, so it will not carry a long video playlist. If the internet drops, the downloaded programme carries on; only updating and remote switching stop working.
Alternatives to the HD-C16L
If large, frequently changed video content is the aim, the greater storage and faster networking of the A series (HD-A3L, HD-A4L) is more practical, though separate receiving cards are needed there too. If only text, a clock and simple animation go on the board, the HD-WF2's single- or dual-colour card solves it for a fraction of the price. In other ecosystems the NovaStar Taurus TB30 or the Sysolution Y50 is its counterpart. For a larger wall with more ports, the HD-A6L is the next step up. The deciding factors: how many pixels the wall has, how large the content is, and whether the card will remain accessible after installation.
