In short

The data sheets of two LED video walls can be almost identical, and yet three years later one of them is patchy and faded while the other is not. The difference is almost always here: whose LED chip, whose driver IC and whose power supply sits inside the module. This category exists so that you can name these hidden items and ask for them to be stated in the quotation.

Where does it fit in the system? Every stage of the diagram is clickable — it takes you to that category.

1. Lamp bead 3 LEDs in 1 package: RGB = 1 pixel 2. Module the smallest replaceable part driver ICs on the back 3. Cabinet — the mounting unit 6 modules (example) receiving card + HUB card power supply 230 V → 5 V frame, cooling, quick lock or bracket typically 500 × 500 or 500 × 1000 mm 4. The wall grid of cabinets = the finished display Quality is not decided by the size of the wall but by the inside of steps 2 and 3: which lamp bead, which driver IC and which power supply. Datasheets rarely cover these — ask for them separately in the quote.
How an LED wall is built up, from the lamp bead to the finished wall. A “module” and a “cabinet” are not the same thing: the module is the replaceable piece of the image, the cabinet is the mounting unit that also holds the power supply and the receiving card.

A like-for-like comparison pulled from the manufacturer datasheets. A “—” means the manufacturer does not publish that figure — not that the device cannot do it.
