In short

A LED video wall never stands on its own: it needs a signal path, a network, a properly sized electrical supply, protection, a support structure and cooling. On most installations it is not the panel but this layer that causes the trouble - the 100 metre copper limit, an undersized circuit breaker, the inrush current at switch-on or a poorly chosen bracket. How far does copper reach, and when do you need fibre? Cat6 copper 90 m — design threshold 100 m — absolute limit safe here Optical (fibre) hundreds of metres – kilometres, interference-free → and beyond The 100 m is the TOTAL cable run: the detour in the wall duct, the patch inside the rack and the spare all count. Above 90 m you need a pair of fibre converters (at the controller and at the wall) — plan this BEFORE the install, not after.
The practical limit of copper Cat6 is 100 metres, but plan with 90. Above that you need a fibre converter — it is not expensive, but if it is missing from the plan you find out on site.
