Gloshine CB MAX Series LED module and cabinet
Gloshine's CB MAX series consists of outdoor rental LED cabinets, which the manufacturer offers in several pixel pitch versions (CB MAX3.9, CB MAX4.8, CB MAX8.9, and the mixed CB MAX3.9-7.8). Every cabinet is made in the same 1000×1000×74.5 mm size, which makes it easier to combine modules of different pixel pitches within one system.
The front of the cabinets is IP65 rated and the rear IP54, which makes them suitable for outdoor event use exposed to the weather. The refresh rate can be chosen between 3840 Hz and 7680 Hz. Their weight is between 11.5 and 15.5 kg per cabinet depending on the build.
The manufacturer's official product sheet does not publish brightness or power draw figures; these require an individual quotation request.
Where the CB MAX Series sits in an LED wall system
The CB MAX's uniform 1 000×1 000×74.5 mm cabinet builds with quick locks and lifting beam fittings, containing the modules, the sealed power supply and the receiving card; the rear is IP54, so rear-opened servicing cannot be carried out in the rain. Port count: at P3.9 the cabinet is 256×256 = 65 536 pixels, so 10 cabinets (10 m²) run on one gigabit port; at P8.9 it is 112×112 = 12 544, giving 51 cabinets and 51 m². A 100 m² P3.9 festival wall calls for 10 ports and 6.6 million pixels of capacity — that is already MX40 Pro level, and a VX1000's 6.5 million frame is just short.
WHEN IT IS THE RIGHT CHOICE
Recommended for outdoor touring or event use, where the picture surface has to be built from a choice of pixel pitch versions in a uniform cabinet size.

The CB MAX Series in practice
On an outdoor build, the IP65 front protection is only worth something if the connectors are protected too: the power and etherCON connectors have to be kept closed until the de-rig, and unused ports need caps. The advantage of the uniform 1 000×1 000 cabinet size is that versions with different pixel pitches can be mixed within one system and the wall's dimensions are always a whole number of metres — which simplifies the planning. In exchange, a cabinet is 11.5–15.5 kg and 1 m², and lifting it takes two people. Plane tolerance is 0.5 mm. The manufacturer gives no brightness or consumption figures, so the power requirement (load per phase, generator size) has to be requested in writing at the quotation stage. Touring kit: 5% spare modules.
Alternatives to the CB MAX Series
If the wall goes outdoors but permanently, a rental cabinet does not belong there: the Absen AW Series (IP65, 2.5–3.9 mm) or the Unilumin Usurface III Pro (IP69K, 10 000 nit) is the right choice. For more brightness on a mobile stage, the Absen PL V3 goes to 5 000 nit. If a 500 mm cabinet grid is needed to match the existing fleet, the outdoor cabinet version of the INFiLED ER (500×1 000) fits better. For an indoor event, the Chipshow C-Rock Indoor or the Esdlumen Pilot Pro.
