The companion/successor software to LEDStudio, for configuring Linsn's newer generations of controller card.

Linsn LEDSet LED wall software
LEDSet is the setup software made for Linsn's later controller card generations, offering broader functionality than LEDStudio (finer calibration settings, extended card support). The two programs — LEDStudio and LEDSet — are partly present on the market in parallel, depending on which one the specific card production series is compatible with.
As with most entry-level Chinese control systems, it matters here too that the right software version is chosen on the basis of the card's serial number/type — the manufacturer or the reseller selling the card can give guidance on this.
Where the LEDSet sits in an LED wall system
LEDSet works on the same signal path as LEDStudio — laptop, Linsn sending card (a TS921, for instance), Cat6, receiving card, HUB card, module — it just recognises the newer card generations. Its job is strictly the hardware side: writing and storing the receiving card parameters (driver chip type, scan rate, data groups, colour order), the screen layout, the brightness and the finer calibration settings on the card. It has no content playback; that comes from LEDStudio or from an external video signal fed to the sending card.
WHEN IT IS THE RIGHT CHOICE
On Linsn systems where the card's manufacturer specifically prescribes the use of LEDSet instead of LEDStudio.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
LEDSet and LEDStudio are not always interchangeable on the same card — with the wrong software choice the card cannot be recognised, so it is best to follow the documentation received at purchase or the reseller's recommendation.
The LEDSet in practice
The practical question is always the same: which program for which card. The documentation supplied with the card, or the reseller, determines it, and departing from that is not worth it — with the wrong program the card does not even appear, which easily leads to a needless hardware replacement. The workflow: recognise the card, load the module parameters from a file or build them with the wizard (chip, scan rate, colour order, data groups), write them out, save to the receiving card, and finally set the layout. The latest known release is from August 2019, so the program has not been updated for years; on a new Windows version this can cause driver and compatibility trouble, and it is worth keeping an older, dedicated commissioning laptop for it. There is no Hungarian interface.
Alternatives to the LEDSet
An older Linsn card needs LEDStudio, which is also suitable for content playback. If the project also calls for calibration, temperature monitoring or remote supervision, the Linsn line falls short: on the NovaStar side NovaLCT and NovaCLB, and on the Colorlight side LEDSETTING's built-in dynamic calibration, provide that. The decision is typically made at procurement: a cheaper card means cheaper software and fewer operating tools.

On its own the Linsn LEDSet is a component. With us it works inside these displays — design, manufacturing and installation included.
