Linsn TS902 LED wall controller
The TS902 is Linsn's four-network-port sending card, driving everything from single- and dual-colour displays to full colour and accepting a 4K video source as well. Its maximum capacity is 2.6 million pixels, with one DVI and one HDMI connector on the input side, plus an audio input.
The card is built with a PCI-E 1x interface and handles 8, 10 or 12-bit video input with 16-bit grayscale processing; the supported signal formats are RGB, YCbCr 4:2:2 and 4:4:4. Typical source resolutions are 2560×1024, 1920×1200 and 2048×1152.
Its parameter handling deserves separate mention: the TS902 supports reading back and broadcasting RCG files, and broadcasting CON files — meaning cabinet parameters can be distributed en masse from the sending card, without having to deal with each cabinet in turn.
Where the TS902 sits in an LED wall system
It sits in the same Linsn chain as the TS802D: the PC's graphics card → DVI or HDMI → TS902 → 4× Cat6 → Linsn receiving card (RV908M32) → HUB card → module. The configuration software is LEDStudio, and LEDSet is the tool for the receiving card parameters. Because of the four ports, the gigabit limit per port (roughly 650,000 pixels) allows 2.6 million pixels in total — a figure that comes from the port count, not from separate processing capacity.

The TS902 in practice
The RCG file is the Linsn world's equivalent of NovaStar's `.rcfgx`: it has to be requested from the module supplier, because without knowing the scan mode, the driver IC and the data order the wall will not start up correctly. The TS902 can also read it back from cards already connected, so the parameters of a working wall can be saved before you touch anything — the quickest insurance against a botched configuration. Broadcasting the CON file distributes the cabinet wiring order in one step. The LEDStudio version and the card firmware have to be managed together: an older LEDStudio will not recognise the four-port card, and the error message is misleading.
Alternatives to the TS902
If the wall grows beyond 2.6 million pixels, staying with Linsn means more cards or a larger model; stepping outside the ecosystem, the NovaStar VX400 carries the same pixel count but adds scaling, PIP and presets. If signal distribution is the only job and the wall is smaller, the TS802D is cheaper. Neither Linsn card belongs on a camera or rental production: the Brompton Tessera S8 is the direction there.
