The mobile (Android/iOS) sibling of ViPlex Express: managing NovaStar media players from a phone or tablet.

ViPlex Handy LED wall software
ViPlex Handy does the same job as ViPlex Express, but from a mobile device: uploading, scheduling and remotely supervising content on NovaStar Taurus- and TU-series as well as NS-series media players, through a phone or tablet. On smaller installations (a shop unit, a single display) this is often more convenient than taking a laptop to site.
The two applications — Express and Handy — overlap functionally, but Handy is specifically optimised for quick on-site intervention (changing content, checking network settings, and so on).
Where the ViPlex Handy sits in an LED wall system
The phone or tablet connects to the Taurus terminal's own Wi-Fi access point, or to a local network shared with the terminal, and uploads the content from there to the player's internal storage. The wall's signal path is independent of this: the sending card part of the terminal drives the receiving cards hanging off the Cat6, and those drive the modules through the HUB card. Alongside the Taurus and TU series, Handy also handles the JT100 traffic control player. Panel configuration, writing the cabinet file and calibration are not possible here either; that is NovaLCT's job.
WHEN IT IS THE RIGHT CHOICE
On smaller NovaStar installations with one or two displays, where on-site content upload or a quick intervention is more convenient from a mobile device than from a laptop.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
The same hardware compatibility rule applies as with ViPlex Express: it only works with the supported player series.
The ViPlex Handy in practice
For on-site work this is the fastest route: the technician connects the phone to the terminal's access point (according to the manual, AP plus the last eight digits of the serial number, factory password 12345678), logs in, and changes the content or adjusts the brightness in a few minutes. One pitfall is that while the phone is on the terminal's access point it has no internet connection — anything that has to be downloaded from the cloud must be saved to the device in advance. The other is that video uploaded from a phone is in the phone camera's format, and has to be rescaled to the wall's native resolution beforehand. The latest known release of the app is from 2022, so it follows new Android and iOS versions more slowly than its desktop sibling. There is no Hungarian interface.
Alternatives to the ViPlex Handy
For heavier content editing — several zones, a longer programme, complex scheduling — the desktop ViPlex Express gives more tools. If the displays have to be managed remotely across several sites, VNNOX is the solution. This route is not available on another manufacturer's hardware: Handy only sees NovaStar players, while on the Colorlight side the PlayerMaster desktop program and on the Huidu side HDPlayer is the content tool. The decision therefore has to be made when the controller is purchased.

LED wall software — but what does it go into?
On its own the ViPlex Handy is a component. With us it works inside these displays — design, manufacturing and installation included.
