The P1.25 module is made for spaces where the audience sits within arm's reach of the wall: meeting rooms, control rooms, broadcast studios, brand showcase spaces. The essence of GOB (Glue-on-Board) technology is that every single LED is cast into a transparent, hard layer of resin — this is not a cosmetic measure but physical protection against impact, dust and moisture, while the surface stays perfectly flat and free of reflections. Because the panel is front serviceable, a faulty module can be replaced in minutes with no need to reach the space behind the wall. The quality SMD1010 LED chips are selected at production batch level, so the colour of the wall does not clash with the panel beside it months later — a real, measurable answer to the fear of "cheap tat". With an operating temperature of -20 to 40 °C it runs reliably in air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned interiors alike.

GOB technology: what makes this panel bulletproof

GOB stands for Glue-on-Board — every LED chip is bonded directly to the board, and the whole surface is then cast in transparent, hard resin. The result is a homogeneous, smooth panel surface with no protruding components that a cleaning cloth or an accidental knock could dislodge. The resin layer also provides UV and moisture protection, so the P1.25 module stays stable in places sensitive to swings in humidity — a lobby, an industrial control room, a semi-covered space close to outdoors. Unlike conventional SMD panels with no protective layer, there are no exposed solder points here and no gaps to collect dust — that is the real, measurable answer to the fear of "cheap tat": not marketing copy but a physical layer on the surface of the panel.

Who is the 1.25 mm pitch made for?

As a rule of thumb, every 1 mm of pixel pitch corresponds to about 2.5–3 metres of comfortable minimum viewing distance — for the P1.25 module that means you see a continuous, grain-free picture from as close as 3 metres, and at arm's length no pixel grid disturbs the eye. This pitch is for spaces where the audience looks at the wall for extended periods and from close up: in a meeting room during a presentation, in a control room over data visualisation, in a studio in front of a camera, at a luxury reception in the moment of first impression. If the viewing distance is greater than that — viewed from 8–10 metres in a spacious atrium, say — P1.25 is an unnecessary cost: in that case P2 or P2.5 gives the same visual experience at a lower price. That is precisely what we assess at the site survey, so that you do not pay for resolution your eye cannot see.

Consumption and service life: what the real cost means

The P1.25 module's average consumption is 231 W/m², with a peak of 694 W/m² on a full white image — in practice a typical display with mixed content (logo, text, video) consumes around 30–40 per cent of the peak figure, which makes for a well-plannable monthly electricity bill. The rated service life of the LED chips is 100,000 operating hours, which even at 12 hours a day means more than 20 years before the brightness would fall to half its original level — in reality you will change the content or the technology sooner, but the panel will not be the bottleneck. The 14-bit greyscale and the 5000:1 contrast guarantee that the black-to-grey gradient does not fall apart in dark scenes, which is critical on a fine-pitch panel, since from close up you would notice every flaw immediately.

Installation, servicing and local backing

The module, which works with a HUB320 signal interface and 1/64 scan, is front serviceable: if a panel fails, there is no need to reach behind the wall or dismantle scaffolding — we replace the module within minutes with a unit held in stock from the same production batch, so the colour does not clash with the neighbouring panel. Installation, training and the initial setup are carried out by our own team, and you manage the control from a phone app or the cloud; if you can write an email, you can handle this too. With a Warranty+ package the wall can be maintained beyond the manufacturer's warranty, with spare parts supplied locally rather than after weeks of waiting on a store abroad.
