In short

The P1.53 module is the middle member of the fine-pitch GOB series: with a 1.53 mm pixel pitch and a resolution of 422,500 pixels/m² it gives a perfectly smooth picture from a viewing distance of 3.5–4 metres, at a somewhat more restrained price than P1.25. The HUB75 signal interface is the industry's most widespread standard, which means simpler control card compatibility and faster servicing. The panel gives ≥500 cd/m² brightness and 5000:1 contrast, and consumes 224 W/m² on average (673 W/m² at peak). The GOB casting again gives physical protection against impact, dust and damp, in a front-serviceable build.

LED module P1.53 indoor – GOB

If P1.25 is too fine (and too expensive) for the space, P1.53 is often the right answer: a barely perceptible increase in pixel pitch, but with meaningfully lower consumption and a typically more favourable unit price. The HUB75 signal interface is one of the most widely supported industry standards, which means that when extending or replacing the control system you are not confined to a single manufacturer's closed ecosystem. GOB technology gives the same physical protection here as on the finest pitch: the LEDs are cast into transparent resin, the surface stays homogeneous and scratch-resistant, and the panel can be opened and serviced from the front. Bin-matched selection of quality SMD1212 chips guarantees that the wall will not go patchy within a year — the most common complaint about cheap panels from unchecked sources. For mid-sized meeting rooms, bank branches and premium shops, this pitch gives the best value for money.

Why P1.53: the happy medium on value

The P1.53 module is made for those who want the image quality of P1.25 but also want to optimise the investment and the running cost. The pixel pitch is barely 22 per cent larger, while the resolution falls to 422,500 pixels/m² against P1.25's 640,000 — in practice a difference that is no longer perceptible from a viewing distance of 3.5–4 metres, while the average consumption drops to 224 W/m² and the peak to 673 W/m². In mid-sized meeting rooms, the customer areas of bank branches and around the tills of premium shops, that difference saves a serious sum on the electricity bill over the years, without giving up anything in the visual experience. At the site survey we always compare the actual effect of P1.25 and P1.53 in the specific space before you decide.

The advantage of the HUB75 interface: you are not locked to one manufacturer

The P1.53 module uses the HUB75 signal interface, one of the most widespread and longest-established industry standards in LED panel control. In practice that means the wall's control card, its signal processing unit and its expansion options are available from a wider market, and you are not confined to a single manufacturer's closed, expensive proprietary parts. If the system is extended years later — with a second wall, or by moving to a higher-resolution controller — HUB75 compatibility makes that a substantially simpler and cheaper task. That standardisation also shows in the speed of a module swap: our service technician knows the panel's build immediately and does not have to browse bespoke documentation in the middle of fault-finding.

GOB protection and bin-matched colour are basic requirements here too

On the P1.53 module too, the LEDs are cast into a transparent, hard layer of resin — this is the essence of GOB technology, and it gives the same physical protection against impact, dust and moisture as on the finest pitch. The surface is homogeneous, with no protruding component that cleaning or an accidental knock could damage, and the panel stays front serviceable, so there is no need to access the space behind the wall for a swap. The quality SMD1212 LED chips are selected by production batch, so there is no perceptible colour difference between panels either at first switch-on or a year later — this is our answer to the legitimate fear that cheap, unchecked modules go patchy over time.

Who we recommend it to: spaces and installation

The P1.53 pitch is the best choice in spaces where viewers typically see the wall from 3.5–4 metres or further: a mid-sized meeting room, a bank branch customer area, a business lecture theatre, an exclusive showroom. Installation and training are carried out by our own team, day-to-day control is from a phone app or the cloud, and no technical background is needed to use the system. With a Warranty+ package the wall can be maintained beyond the manufacturer's warranty, and spare parts come from a local store rather than from a shipment abroad with weeks of waiting. The free site survey settles whether P1.53, or rather P1.25 or P1.86, suits the space and the budget better.

LED module P1.53 indoor – GOB — frequently asked questions

How does P1.53 differ from P1.25?

The pixel pitch is barely 0.28 mm larger, which from a viewing distance of 3.5–4 metres is practically imperceptible, while the HUB75 interface and the lower average consumption of 224 W/m² typically make the total cost more favourable — it is worth deciding with a site survey which suits the space better.

What does the HUB75 signal interface mean for the buyer?

HUB75 is one of the most widespread industry standards, so control cards and expansion elements are available from a wider choice, extending or replacing is simpler, and servicing is faster because our technicians know the panel's build inside out.

How well does it stand up to everyday wear and knocks?

The LEDs are cast into transparent resin with GOB technology, which gives a homogeneous, scratch-resistant surface with no protruding components — physical protection against impact, dust and moisture, not just a cosmetic measure.

Is it guaranteed that the panels will match in colour?

Yes — the quality SMD1212 LED chips are selected by production batch, so there will be no perceptible colour difference between the modules making up the wall, either at handover or months later.

Who installs the system and provides the training?

Installation, commissioning and training are carried out by our own team and included in the price, and day-to-day control is from a phone app or the cloud — no technical background is needed.
