What a 150 cm counter can do in one evening
150 cm of usable counter length is enough for two service positions: two bartenders can work side by side, or one bartender and one person on the till. On the guest side, three or four guests stand at that same length at once, reckoning 40–50 cm each. The lower storage is the significant difference from the other counters: the glassware, the ice bucket and the tools fit under the counter, so you do not have to put a separate table behind it. In a tight venue that is a gain measurable in square metres.
A 100 cm counter height: what it goes with
A 100 cm counter is at the lower end of classic bar height. On the guest side that means a standing guest can comfortably put a glass down, and among the bar stools in the range both the 79 cm and the 104 cm overall-height models are logical companions. If you are assembling several counters at a venue, it is worth staying within one height band: the 109.5 and 110 cm counters in the range go together, while the 100 cm C180 works best as a stand-alone island.
34 kg: the heaviest piece in the line
It is the heaviest of the bar counters (in the whole range only the 35 kg, 177 cm sofa is heavier). Two people lift 34 kg safely, and the 150 cm length calls for two in any case. For a venue with stairs, plan the route in advance, and if it has to go upstairs, measure the lift: a 150 × 54 cm footprint fits into most passenger lifts, but only stood on its edge. In the vehicle, at 150 × 54 cm, three counters stand in one layer on a 1.7 × 3 metre floor if you load them lengthways.
Light, running time, cleaning
The 5600 mAh battery is the larger-capacity cell in the range, and the manufacturer states 6–8 hours of lighting time depending on the colour. That covers the evening part of a bar shift, and charging can be done during the day before opening. The counter top is the most heavily used surface at an event: spilt spirits, syrup, ice. It is IP54-rated polyethylene, wipes down with a damp cloth, and syrup cannot stick in the join lines, because there are none. That means ten minutes of cleaning after closing, not an hour.
