This set is a finished bar station that needs nothing but a level surface. The counter, 150 cm long, 54 cm deep and 100 cm high, is a single piece with storage underneath, and three bar stools with backrest of 104 cm overall height go on the guest side. One or two people work behind the counter, three sit in front of it, and another guest or two can be served standing. A garden party, a pop-up bar or the welcome drink at the entrance to an event - wherever you need a counter for one evening and have neither the time nor a socket for building one.

The lower storage as a work surface
At a mobile bar the top of the counter belongs to the guest and to making the drinks; everything else goes under the counter. Here the storage is part of the furniture: the stock of glasses, the ice bucket, the spare bottles and the napkins are below, and the 150 x 54 cm top stays free for pouring. At a welcome drink this sets the pace: the poured glasses stand ready on the top, the next row waits below, and the barman does not have to turn away from the guest to restock from a table behind him. And at a smaller garden party there is no need for the camping table behind the counter that is usually the weakest point of the whole picture.
Three bar stools along the 150 cm
The 100 cm high counter goes with the bar stool with backrest of 104 cm overall height. Three stools fit along the 150 cm, 50 cm per guest; if the 56 cm side of the stool faces the counter, the two outer ones overhang the end of the counter by a few centimetres, which is no problem with a free-standing counter. The backrest went into this set because at a garden party and in a pop-up bar the guest who sits down at the counter usually stays there. At a welcome drink the logic is the other way round: there you can even put the stools aside and the full length of the counter goes to the arriving, standing guests.
Footprint: barman, counter, guest
The counter is 150 x 54 cm, 0.8 m2 on its own. Behind it the barman needs a strip of at least 90 cm and in front of it the bar stools take 56 cm, so the total depth is 90 + 54 + 56 = 200 cm. In width, reckon on about 1.7 metres because of the stools: the set fits into a rectangle of 2 x 1.7 metres, that is 3.4 m2. If there is a wall or a hedge behind the counter, do not narrow the 90 cm strip, because the barman has to bend down to the lower storage and that needs room behind his back. And leave a metre of circulation in front of the guest side so that guests standing behind the stools do not block the way.
Handling and the light of one evening
The set weighs 58 kg, of which 34 kg is the counter itself - the heaviest of the counters, needing two people, and because of the 150 cm length you should plan the route through doorways and stairs in advance. The three bar stools are 3 x 8 kg and go in the second trip. Four batteries work in the set: one 5600 mAh cell in the counter and one 2600 mAh cell in each of the three stools, 13,400 mAh in total. The manufacturer states 6-8 hours of lighting per piece, depending on the colour. At a garden party the counter thus stays lit from dusk to closing time, and you pick the colour to suit the mood of the party from the seven available, on the counter and the stools at once.

How many guests sit at the counter?
Three, at 50 cm per guest along the 150 cm. Another guest or two can be served standing beside them, and one or two people can work behind the counter at the same time. At a welcome drink the stools can also be put aside.
What should I use the lower storage for?
For everything that does not belong in front of the guest: the stock of glasses, the ice bucket, spare bottles, napkins. That way the counter top stays for pouring and there is no need for a separate table behind the counter for stock. At closing time wipe out the inside of the storage too.
How much space does the whole set need?
With the barman's 90 cm strip and the stools, about 2 x 1.7 metres, that is 3.4 m2. Leave another metre of circulation in front of the guest side so that guests queuing do not block the way.
How many people are needed to move it?
Two. The counter is 34 kg and 150 cm long, which one person cannot carry safely. The three 8 kg bar stools go in the second trip, and the whole set comes to 58 kg. At doorways and on stairs the length of the counter is the bottleneck, not its weight.
