How a bar is built from it
One element gives a 90 cm counter section, and with the 80 × 80 cm corner element it can be turned through a right angle. An L shape is typically one corner plus one straight element on each side: arms of 80 + 90 = 170 cm. A U shape takes two corners and three straight elements, which gives a counter island of roughly 250 × 170 cm. The 110 cm height is the same as on the C176 side-storage element and the C178 corner element, so those three models form one family. There is a half-centimetre difference from the 109.5 cm C181 pieces, which is invisible in practice — but do not put the 100 cm stand-alone counter in the same row.
Upper or side storage: which one you need
The upper shelf is good for fast-moving stock: glasses, ice, syrups, tools. Whatever is on top the bartender reaches in half a second — but the guest sees it too, so it has to be kept tidy. The side-storage version (C176), by contrast, hides the stock away. A typical arrangement is therefore a mixed one: the working position has the upper shelf, the end element has side storage for the reserve stock and the less attractive items. If you are buying only one element, the one with the upper shelf is the more practical.
25 kg: loading and setting up
Plan for two people per piece: one person can lift 25 kg, but nobody turns a 90 × 80 cm body alone in a doorway or on stairs. Two people carry one element in per trip, so a three-element L shape is three trips, realistically twenty minutes. In the vehicle, at 90 × 80 cm, four elements stand in one layer on a 1.7 × 3 metre floor. A complete three-element bar therefore fits into a van if the floor is used properly.
Running time and cleaning after closing
Two 5200 mAh batteries work in it, because of the longer LED section. The manufacturer states 6–8 hours of lighting time depending on the colour — that covers the evening part of a bar shift, and charging can be handled during the day before opening. The counter top is the most heavily used surface: spirits, syrup, ice. It is IP54-rated polyethylene, wipes down with a damp cloth, and there is no join line for syrup to stick in. After closing that means ten minutes, not an hour — and no chemicals are needed either.
