A landscape, banner-shaped P3 outdoor LED video wall that presents content across 8.6 square metres in a wide, low format. It fits beautifully onto facade lintels, above shop portals or on long, extended surfaces where height is limited but width can be used. P3 resolution guarantees a sharp image even close up, at an average of 262 W/m². Because the cabinets are modular, a fault can be repaired within hours without taking the wall down. The 100,000-hour LED lifespan means 10–15 years of continuous operation in practice, with proper maintenance.
Outdoor LED video wall P3 – 1.95 × 4.5 m (8.8 m²)
The 1.95 × 4.5 metre format is ideal for anyone whose available surface is not tall but above all wide – above a shop portal, for example, or in a horizontal band on a building facade. The banner shape also changes how the content is built: scrolling text, rows of logos and promotional messages look particularly good in this format. The technology is the same professional P3 outdoor solution that characterises our larger walls: high brightness, a high refresh rate and IP65 protection. This is not a simplified, cheaper-technology product – it contains the same quality LED chips and control components as our more square outdoor walls, simply assembled in a different geometry. The aim in choosing the shape is always to make the most of the available surface, not to strip down the technology.

Why the banner format pays off
On many facades and portals there is no large, square surface available, but there is a long, horizontal band – typically above a shop entrance, on a shopping centre portal or in a decorative band on a building facade. This size was written for that situation: low but wide, so that scrolling captions, rows of logos and promotional messages appear with natural room to move. Because of the P3 resolution the text is perfectly readable close up, at pedestrian eye level, not only from further away. The shape also stands out visually from the usual square displays, which draws attention in its own right.
Managing content in a scrolling format
The banner-shaped wall is driven by the same Wi-Fi/LAN based software as our other outdoor units, but when planning content it is worth preparing graphics optimised for the wide, low ratio from the outset. We help with this during training: we show how to set the most readable text size, the scrolling speed and the schedule by time of day. The system can be changed remotely, even from a phone, so a promotion or a change of opening hours can be updated in minutes without travelling to the site.
What is worth knowing about quality
On a long, narrow wall, colour and brightness matching between modules is even more conspicuous than on a square display, because the eye sweeps along a single long horizontal band. That is why we fit the cabinets exclusively with LED chips from the same production batch, so that one end of the banner cannot end up a slightly different shade from the other. Incoming modules are tested one by one before they are installed, and faulty units are filtered out before installation. If an element does fail over the years, our local service team makes the swap within minutes from spare parts held in stock – no waiting weeks for an imported module.
Consumption and day-to-day handling
Average operating consumption of the 8.6 square metre banner typically stays below 262 W/m², drawing at most 786 W/m² at peak load – with a typical 10–12 hours of daily operation that means a foreseeable monthly electricity bill line, not a surprise. We deliberately designed the control so that it requires no IT background: anyone who can write an email and upload a picture from a phone can learn how to change content or set a scheduled message. Handover always includes on-site training for the operating staff, so you can manage the wall independently from the day it is commissioned.
Typical applications
Outdoor LED video wall P3 – 1.95 × 4.5 m (8.8 m²) — frequently asked questions
Why does the wall have such an unusual ratio?
The shape deliberately suits facades, portals and lintels where there is no height available, only width. We also manufacture it in bespoke sizes if your surface calls for a different ratio.
What content looks best on it?
Scrolling text, rows of logos, short promotional messages and opening-hours information are ideal for this format. Rather than static graphics with many small elements, it is worth planning simple, highly readable, moving content.
Will an elongated shape like this stand up to the weather?
Yes, the cabinets are individually rated IP65, so rain, snow and direct sun cause no problem. The long, narrow support structure is also engineered structurally on the basis of the site survey.
What makes up the final price, and how much of it is the support structure?
The quote always itemises the LED cabinets, the bespoke mounting frame, the control system and the installation on separate lines – there are no hidden items. For accurate pricing we hold a free site survey, because with the banner format the size of the support structure can differ from site to site.
What warranty do you give, and what happens after it?
We give a factory warranty on the wall and the LED modules, and the optional Warranty+ package also secures service call-outs and spare part replacement over a longer term. We source parts from regional stock rather than a foreign supplier, so even a post-warranty repair takes days rather than weeks.
Who installs it, and do I have to arrange consent?
Installation is carried out by our own team, according to the plans drawn up from the site survey. For a public-facing or larger facade installation we also help with the planning notification and any consent from the local authority – that does not stay your job.
