How much room it takes per guest
A 64 × 62 cm footprint, that is 0.4 m² per piece. Counting room to walk around, roughly 0.8 m² goes to each guest — half of what a sofa layout uses per head. On a tight terrace or in a marquee you can therefore often seat more guests with tub chairs than with sofas. Four tub chairs around a low table make a complete lounge island on about 4 m². The same thing with a sofa would ask for 6–7 m².
One evening of light, with no cable
The 5200 mAh battery gives 6–8 hours of lighting depending on the colour, so the stretch from 6 pm to midnight is covered on a single charge. The seven colours are switched by remote control on every piece at once — if you have twelve tub chairs out, you do not have to touch each one. Because there is no cable, the chairs can be placed according to the flow of guests. In a listed courtyard or a hired marquee that often means illuminated furniture is possible at all, because there is no cable to lay and cover.

When this is not the right choice
If the aim is presence and photogenic looks, a 64 cm wide tub chair is lost in the space. The other case is long, comfortable sitting: without a cushion this is not the most comfortable piece for two or three hours.
