Stage LED wall rental for concerts, festivals and award shows in Hungary

On stage the LED wall carries spectacle, not information: moving graphics behind the performer, the DJ's visuals, the winner's name and the sponsors at an award show, the live feed at an indoor sports event. The rental five-panel 320 × 192 cm wall, close to 16:9, is made for exactly this size: it fits a 4-metre club stage, a festival-tent podium or a ballroom stage, and it is visible from the back rows.

It is worth saying what it is not for: on an open-air main stage, in rain or blazing sun, the indoor panel cannot be used — that calls for the outdoor, cabinet-built P2.5 or P3 version, which is also available to rent, quoted individually. For a covered stage, a marquee, a club, a community hall or a sports hall, this wall is the fast and affordable solution.

Recommended size for this event

320 × 192 cm · 1600 × 960 px
5 panels — 320 × 192 cm LED wall (16:9)

Five panels, close to 16:9: best for video, streaming and wedding screenings.

The calculator starts with this size — you can switch at any time, and if you need two walls, mention the second in the message.

Backdrop, live feed or side wall?

The wall can play three roles on stage. As a backdrop it stands behind the performer with moving graphics across its full width — the five-panel wall is right here, because 16:9 visuals run without cropping. As a live feed screen it stands next to the stage or along the side of the room with the camera image, so the back rows can see the performer — again five panels, via HDMI from the mixer. As a side wall behind the DJ booth the three-panel square is typical, since most club visuals are square. Two walls can be hired: pick one size in the calculator and mention the second in the message.

Viewing distance and brightness in a large space

Stage content is spectacle, not reading matter, so the one-twentieth rule applies: the 192 cm image height reads well from 35–40 metres — plenty for a 300-seat community hall or one half of a sports hall. The P2 pixel pitch disappears from 2 metres, so even the front row sees no raster. We set the brightness on site: full brightness alongside stage lighting, turned down in a smaller club so it does not dazzle the performer. The wall stands on its own feet on the stage; if it needs to hang from truss or mount on a wall, discuss that at booking, because the poster versions are built for their own free-standing base.

Signal source: DJ, VJ, mixer, camera

The wall takes an HDMI signal, so the VJ's laptop, the video mixer or a camera output can be connected. With five panels the resolution is 1600 × 960 pixels — the controller fits a 1920 × 1080 source, the aspect ratio is 16:9.6, practically without cropping. Without a VJ, the playlist runs from a USB stick or a phone: one folder per act, and we show you how to switch during the training. At an award show the winner's name goes live from a laptop, and sponsor logos run from a USB stick during the breaks.

Loading, soundcheck, strike

At a stage venue the load-in is the critical point: the van must be able to stop at the loading entrance, and the panels have to go up onto the stage — if the venue provides loading help there is no surcharge; if not, we handle it for a net surcharge. Setting up five panels takes about an hour, so it is ready before soundcheck; brightness and signal are set during the rehearsal together with the lighting technician. Strike after the concert or the next morning — at a multi-day festival the wall stays, and delivery is split into two trips.

How much does a stage LED wall cost?

The list price covers the indoor P2 panel: a net daily rate per panel — indicative: about €75 net per panel per day at a fixed 400 HUF/EUR conversion; the five-panel stage backdrop is about €375 net per day, the three-panel DJ wall about €225 net. Add delivery from Győr, charged net per kilometre for the return trip, split into two trips at a multi-day festival. An operator is rarely booked at a concert because the VJ or technician runs the wall; if you want one, it is a net daily rate. A three-day, five-panel festival hire in Pécs without an operator comes to about €1 727 net, for example — of which about €602 net is the two delivery trips, because Pécs is 602 km there and back. Larger cabinet-based or outdoor walls are also available to rent, quoted separately; all figures are indicative.

Stage LED wall rental for concerts and festivals — frequently asked questions

Is the rental LED wall suitable for an outdoor festival stage?

The indoor panel, no: an open stage exposed to rain and blazing sun calls for the outdoor, cabinet-built P2.5 or P3 version — that is available to rent too, quoted individually. For a covered stage, a marquee, a club or a sports hall the indoor panel is the right choice.

What is the largest wall available for hire?

Five panels: 320 × 192 cm, 1600 × 960 pixels, close to 16:9. Two such walls can be hired, for example as a backdrop and a side live-feed screen. Anything larger indoors needs a cabinet-based event wall with a separate quote.

What signal does the wall accept?

HDMI: a VJ laptop, a video mixer or a camera output. The controller fits a 1920 × 1080 source to the wall's 1600 × 960 resolution. A playlist can also run from a USB stick or a phone.

Can it be flown from truss?

The rental panel is a free-standing unit and normally stands on the stage. Discuss truss or wall mounting at booking — if that is what you need, we recommend a cabinet-based event wall.

How long does setup take before soundcheck?

Five panels about an hour, three panels half an hour. Brightness and signal source are set during the rehearsal together with the lighting technician. Strike is after the concert or the next morning.
