Who the case is worth it for, and who it is not
The question is not whether it is good, but how often the device moves
With an outdoor poster display the question of the case is sharper than indoors, because this device typically moves more: it goes to outdoor events, to fairs, between sites, into seasonal positions. It is clearly worth it for an event production hire company and for a stand builder: in season it is loaded weekly, handled by unfamiliar hands, carried in a lorry, and a single damaged module means the device is out of action. It is also worth it for a company with several sites, where the same poster display works at a different location month by month. And it is not worth it if the poster display stays in one place after commissioning — in front of a shop window, beside an entrance, on a site: the problem of the first journey is solved by the manufacturer, because delivery to your address is included in the base price too. Why brightness decides outdoors, not resolution
4,500–5,000 nits versus 700–800 nits
This is the most expensive mistake in the category, so it is worth saying plainly: the difference between an indoor and an outdoor LED poster display is primarily not pixel density but brightness and structure. The indoor models give 700–800 nits, which is more than enough in an enclosed space — in the evening you even have to turn it down. The same surface in a south- or west-facing shop window, where sunlight falls on the glass, looks washed out at midday. That is why the outdoor build works at 4,500–5,000 nits, roughly a sixfold figure. Selling a device with indoor brightness into a sunlit position is not a cheaper solution but a wasted investment. The structure differs too: the indoor versions fold, while this model has a demountable cabinet build, which makes transport and handling on site easier.
What the manufacturer states, and what it does not
The open question of the IP rating and the resolution
There are two figures we deliberately do not write down here. Installation, power and moving it
The 201 cm, the 45 kg and the 3.6 A in practice
The poster display is 201 cm tall including the castors, 66 cm wide, and weighs 45 kg. Because of the height it is worth measuring the access route in advance — door height, thresholds, stair turns, turning into a lift. On a flat floor one person can push the 45 kg on its castors, but lifting it, carrying it up stairs or loading it into a vehicle is a two-person job.
