Exactly one thing differs between the two products: this version comes with a wheeled storage and transport case. The display itself is technically identical to the model without the case — the same 2.5 mm pixel pitch, the same 256 × 768 pixel resolution, the same 700–800 nit brightness, the same 45 kg and the same 0.8 kW maximum power draw. Nothing changes in the picture, then; all you are buying is that the device survives the journey. The premium is about €365 net. The total price is therefore about €1,990 net, which likewise includes delivery to your address, on-site installation of the control software, training and the manufacturer's full warranty. Per square metre that is about €1,620 net/m² on the 1.2288 m² image area (calculated). The external dimensions of the case are 134 cm high, 82 cm long and 54 cm wide, which is 0.59 m³ of external volume (calculated). Those three figures matter because the event buyer's question is not whether the case is handsome but whether it fits in the company vehicle, sits on the store shelf, and can be taken through the entry gate of an exhibition hall. You can trace the answers back to those dimensions before you order. One thing we set out openly here too: the manufacturer's data sheet does not state the weight of the case itself, its material, its internal lining, whether it locks, or the gross shipping weight of the complete package. Those are legitimate questions on a 45 kg device, so we do not invent values for them — on a quote request we obtain them from the manufacturer in writing and hand them over as an annex to the quote.

1.34 × 0.82 × 0.54 m. This is the figure with which you can decide whether it fits in the company vehicle: typically yes in a larger estate car or a van, no in a small car. It is worth measuring the specific load area in advance.
A purely logistical premium: it changes nothing about the image quality, the consumption or the dimensions. It is only worth it if the device travels regularly.
The net price, with the price per square metre related to the 1.2288 m² image area. It includes delivery, on-site installation and training just as the base version does.
Unchanged from the base version. Derived from the manufacturer's resolution it is exactly 2.5 mm: 1920 mm / 768 px and 640 mm / 256 px. Comfortable viewing distance from about 2.5 metres, a completely pixel-free image from about 5 metres.
Portrait format with a 202 cm diagonal, roughly 80 inches (calculated). On a stand and in an exhibition aisle this is the size that passing traffic will certainly notice without taking up a whole wall.
It is worth designing the content on a 256 × 768 pixel portrait canvas from the outset. If you take it to several venues, a template made once gives the same quality at every event.
196,608 pixels / 1.2288 m². On the same frame the P2 GOB gives 250,000 and the P1.5 GOB 422,500 pixels/m² (also our own calculation). Beyond 3 metres the difference is not visible in practice.
In event and stand use this is one of the most important figures: the surface does not band in press photographs, on social video or in a live relay. On a low-refresh panel it is exactly the footage you went to the fair for that becomes unusable.
Indoor level. Strong in an exhibition hall, a conference room or a lobby; not enough in a marquee, under strong sunlight through a glass roof, or under open sky — that calls for an outdoor build.
On a travelling device this is the most important serviceability figure: a module damaged in transit can be replaced rather than the whole display. The 4 × 6 layout is calculated from 640/160 and 1920/320.
It can be set up and folded away with no fitting, then goes into the case. This combination is what makes weekly loading practical.
That is the height when set up. At exhibition and event venues, the entry gate, the marquee door and the lift height can all be constraints — worth checking against the venue plan in advance.
In stand design this is the decisive figure, not the size of the display: it takes 0.30 m² of floor area, which is negligible even on a 6 m² stand.
We spell this out deliberately: we cannot state the total package weight, because the manufacturer's data sheet does not include the weight of the case. We request it at quotation stage. For loading, plan for two people in any case.
An upper limit, not typical consumption. At 10 hours of daily operation the ceiling is 240 kWh a month (calculated). The manufacturer does not publish average operating consumption, so we do not estimate one.
3.6 A × 230 V = 828 W (calculated). At an event venue that means an ordinary 16 amp socket is enough — you do not have to ask the organiser for a heavy-current installation.
At a fair or a conference the Wi-Fi can be congested by the many guest networks — in that case the wired UTP connection is the sure route. Several poster displays can be linked if you are building a larger stand backdrop.
The case protects the transport, not the operation: in rain, under open sky, this poster display is not usable even if its transport is protected. For an outdoor event, ask for an outdoor build.
The manufacturer's data sheet states neither the specific duration of the warranty nor the material, lining or locking of the case — we request these in writing at quotation stage and hand them over.
When the premium of about €365 is worth it — and when it is money thrown away
It comes down to a single question
The question is not whether the case is good but how many times the device moves. It is clearly worth it if you are an event production hire company: with you the poster display is loaded weekly in season, handled by unfamiliar technicians and travels in a lorry. A single damaged module means the device is down and you lose the next booking — against that, the premium is nominal. It is worth it for stand builders and exhibitors: 4–10 fairs a year, each with a fixed and expensive build window, where there is no scope to improvise around a damaged surface. It is worth it for a multi-site company: if the same poster display stands in one city's unit one month and another's the next, the case is not an extra but infrastructure. And it is clearly not worth it if the device stays in one place after commissioning. The manufacturer carries out delivery to your address anyway, so the problem of the "first journey" is already solved in the base price. If there is no second journey, the case is a box standing in a store room. In that situation, put the money into pixel density instead: the folding version of the P2 GOB without a case is about €1,740 net — some €250 less than this package — and it gives one and a half times as many pixels on the same surface.
The dimensions of the case and what they mean
134 × 82 × 54 cm — what you do with it
The case is 134 cm high, 82 cm long and 54 cm wide, on castors. That gives an external volume of 0.59 m³ (calculated). Transport: its longest dimension is 134 cm. That means it can typically be placed in the load area of a larger estate car or a van, lying down or upright, but whether it actually fits depends on the dimensions of the specific vehicle — worth measuring in advance rather than assuming. Do not count on it in a small car. Storage: it stands on the floor with a footprint of 82 × 54 cm, less than half a square metre. In a store room or a technical room the poster display can therefore be kept as a single packed unit rather than as a structure, which is a different category from the point of view of security and tidiness too. Moving: because of the castors, the case can be pushed on a level surface. On stairs, a ramp or the uneven floor of an exhibition hall, though, the 45 kg display plus the weight of the case is already a two-person job — and here we are honest: the manufacturer's data sheet does not give the weight of the case itself, so we cannot state the total package weight precisely. We request that at quotation stage.
Rental calculation: how many hire days before it pays back
With your own day rate, not ours
We do not know what you charge per day for the surface, so we make no claims about market day rates. What we can give you is the formula and the input figure. The investment is about €1,990 net. The number of hire days needed to pay it back is simply €1,990 divided by your own net day rate. A few worked examples to give you a reference point: at a net day rate of €100 that is 20 days, at €125 it is 16 days, and at €150 it is 13 days (all three calculated from the formula above). After that, every further hire day is margin, less the cost of transport and labour. Three things are worth adding that the bare formula does not contain. One: with your own equipment you do not have to hire from somebody else, so you save on the procurement side as well. Two: because your own equipment is available, you do not have to turn enquiries down, which is not only the revenue in question but the client relationship too. The third has the opposite sign: out-of-season downtime, storage and any repairs are all costs. We should not be the ones to give you the figure — you can work it through in our calculator with your own day rate and your own utilisation.
What the case protects, and what the manufacturer does not state about it
We deliberately do not gloss over this part
On a 45 kg folding structure made up of 24 LED modules, transport is the riskiest moment. The most common damage is not spectacular breakage but small knocks on the surface of the modules, bending of the frame, and connections working loose from vibration. A closed, wheeled case protects against precisely these. What the manufacturer's data sheet does not state, and what we therefore do not claim: the material of the case, the design of the internal lining or foam, whether it locks, whether it can be padlocked, its load capacity, its own weight, and exactly how the folded poster display fits inside it. These are not trifles — an empty box with no lining protects differently from an interior with foam cut to shape. What we undertake: on a quote request we obtain these six points from the manufacturer item by item and hand them over in writing as an annex to the quote. If you are buying for event use, we recommend asking for a photograph of the inside of the case too before ordering — that is the detail which decides whether it is genuinely protection or merely a cover. What the case does not solve: it does not turn an indoor display into an outdoor one, and it does not substitute for competent loading. The manufacturer gives no ingress protection rating for this model, so in rain, under open sky, this poster display is not usable even if its transport is protected.
Technically nothing changes — and that is good news
The same picture, the same consumption, the same circuit
The display in the flight case version is exactly the same as the one without the case: a 192 × 64 cm image area across 1.2288 m², 256 × 768 pixels, a pixel density of 160,000 pixels/m² (calculated), a 2.5 mm LED pitch, a minimum refresh of 3,840 Hz, 700–800 nits of brightness and 24 modules of 16 × 32 cm in a 4 × 6 layout. The electrical side is unchanged too: a maximum power draw of 0.8 kW and a maximum current draw of 3.6 A, which at 230 V is 828 W (calculated). A conventional 16 amp socket circuit is therefore enough at an event venue too, and you do not have to ask the organiser for a heavy-current installation — something that is often far from a given in exhibition and event conditions. The control is likewise a built-in unit with Wi-Fi, UTP and audio port connections, and several units can be linked. In event use the UTP has particular value: in an exhibition hall or a large conference room, dozens of guest networks and mobile hotspots can interfere with Wi-Fi, while a wired connection stays stable. The consumption ceiling is the same too: at 10 operating hours a day, at most 240 kWh a month (calculated from the 0.8 kW maximum). The manufacturer does not publish typical operating consumption, so we do not give an estimated average either.
The price collision worth thinking through
About €1,990 vs €2,130 net
There is a point in the manufacturer's price list worth saying out loud, because it saves a bad decision. This model — P2.5 with the case — is about €1,990 net. The P2 GOB version with a case is about €2,130 net. The difference is about €140 net (calculated), and for that you get one and a half times the pixel density: 250,000 pixels/m² instead of 160,000. Two opposing lessons follow. If your surface is also seen close up — walking traffic in front of a stand, a narrow exhibition aisle, a reception desk — then that €140 net is the best-spent money in the whole quote, and you should ask for the flight case version of the P2 GOB. If, on the other hand, the poster display is always seen from more than 3 metres, then this premium brings no visible difference and the P2.5 remains the rational choice. And there is a third scenario: the P2 GOB without a case is about €1,740 net — some €250 less than this package — and it still puts one and a half times as many pixels on the same surface. In the same price band you can therefore choose either higher resolution or better logistics — not both. The case protects against precisely the most common damage — surface knocks, frame bending, connections working loose from vibration. Does the event venue need a separate power supply?
No. Maximum current draw is 3.6 A, which at 230 V is 828 W (calculated), so a conventional 16 amp socket circuit is enough. You do not have to ask the organiser for a heavy-current installation or three-phase supply — something that is often far from a given at fairs and conferences, and saves a lot of organisational trouble.
Can it be used at an outdoor event, in a marquee?
In a covered, shaded position yes, under open sky or in rain no. The brightness is 700–800 nits, which is an indoor level; it will look washed out in strong sunlight. The manufacturer's data sheet gives no ingress protection rating for this model, so we guarantee nothing against moisture either. For an outdoor event the outdoor P2.5 cabinet build, with 4,500–5,000 nits, is the right choice.

What is the warranty, and what does it cover?
The manufacturer's data sheet states a "full warranty" without specifying a duration, and we do not fill that in with an invented number of years. On a quote request we obtain the exact duration and the scope of the warranty in writing from the manufacturer — including specifically whether it still applies under regular transport and event use — and hand it over as an annex to the quote, before you order.
How long does it take to set up on site?
The manufacturer's data sheet gives no set-up time, so we do not write a specific number of minutes. What can be said about the structure: a folding build, a wheeled base and a built-in control unit, so there is no separate rigging, cabling or media player to connect. Training is part of the price, and there we go through setting up and folding away at your own site.
Can I use several units on one stand?
Yes, the control can be linked across several units, so a continuous stand backdrop can be built from several poster displays. The image area is 64 cm and the product 66 cm wide, so only 1 cm of frame runs along each side of the picture — no conspicuous gap opens up between two units stood side by side. If you are planning several units, say so with your quote request so that the control is sized for it.
