The manufacturer supplies this model in two packages: as the folding base build, and with a wheeled flight case. This page is about the flight case package. The poster display itself is exactly the same: an image area 192 cm tall and 64 cm wide (1.2288 m²), 320 × 960 pixels, a 2.0 mm pixel pitch, a density of 250,000 pixels/m² (calculated), GOB-surface LED modules, a refresh rate of at least 3,840 Hz, 700–800 nits of brightness, a weight of 45 kg, maximum power of 0.8 kW and maximum current draw of 3.6 A. The surface is built from 24 modules of 16 × 32 cm each, four modules wide and six modules tall. The difference is a single item: the 134 × 82 × 54 cm wheeled storage and transport case, which by our own calculation is 0.59 m³ and therefore needs the load space of a larger estate car or a van — it will not go into the boot of an average saloon. Who the case is worth it for, and who it is not
The question is not whether it is good, but how often the device moves
It is clearly worth it for an event production hire company: in season the device is loaded weekly, handled by unfamiliar technicians, carried in a lorry, and a single damaged module means the poster display is out of action and you lose the next booking. It is worth it for a stand builder and an exhibitor: 4 to 10 fairs a year, each with a fixed and expensive build slot where there is no scope to improvise around a damaged surface. It is also worth it for a company with several sites: if the same poster display stands in one unit this month and another the next, the case is not an extra but infrastructure. And it is clearly not worth it if the device stays in one place after commissioning: the manufacturer solves the problem of the first journey anyway, because delivery to your address is included in the base price. If there is no second journey, the case is an extra outlay of about €390 net in return for a box standing in a store room.

From here you can move in three directions. Downwards: the indoor P2.5 poster display with a case is about €1,990 net — some €140 net cheaper, but with a pixel grid one and a half times coarser, 160,000 pixels/m² instead of 250,000. Upwards: the P1.5 GOB poster display without a case is about €2,240 net, that is some €115 net more than this package, and you get no case with it. That is the most important decision point in this price band: for roughly the same money you can choose a finer pixel grid or transport protection, but only the P1.5 GOB flight case package gives you both at once, at about €2,630 net. The weight of the case itself, the gross weight of the package, the material of the inner lining and the type of the lock are not detailed on the data sheet, so we do not write such figures down either — if that is a deciding factor, we obtain it from the manufacturer in writing on a quote request. What we can say responsibly about the structure: the critical point of the poster display is the LED surface, and knocks or scratches in transit, along with loading by unfamiliar hands, are the most common source of damage. A closed, wheeled case reduces that risk and speeds up loading at the same time, because you are not pushing the structure into the load space wrapped in blankets.
P2 GOB: who this pixel density is for
A P2 pitch means 2.0 mm, which on this surface gives 320 × 960 pixels and a density of 250,000 pixels/m² (calculated). That is the precise fit when the typical viewing distance is between 2 and 4 metres: a shop floor, a restaurant, an exhibition stand, a foyer. If viewers regularly come within two metres and the content includes photographs or small type, the P1.5 GOB version is the right choice. If, on the other hand, the surface is typically seen from beyond 4 metres, the P2.5 is also enough, and its flight case package is about €140 net cheaper. The GOB surface on this model means a more durable, more impact-resistant module face — which is exactly what helps in regularly transported, flight-cased use.

What is the warranty, and what if the poster display is damaged in transit?
The manufacturer's data sheet promises a full warranty without stating a duration — so we do not write a specific number of years down. Because of the modular build a damaged 16 × 32 cm module can be replaced on its own rather than the whole display. Whether transit damage falls under the warranty is a matter for the terms of sale, which we set out in the quote.
