In short

The finest-resolution indoor model in the range, together with a wheeled flight case. Its image area is 192 × 64 cm (1.2288 m²) and its resolution 416 × 1248 pixels, which worked back from the manufacturer's figures means an actual pixel pitch of 1.538 mm and a density of 422,500 pixels/m² (calculated); GOB-surface modules, minimum 3,840 Hz, 700–800 nits, 45 kg, 0.8 kW. The indicative price is about €2,630 net, which is a premium of about €390 net over the version without the case at about €2,240 net. Choose it if viewers stand within two metres of it and the device travels regularly.

Indoor P1.5 GOB LED poster display 64 × 192 cm + wheeled flight case

This package contains the indoor P1.5 GOB LED poster display and the wheeled storage and transport case. The image area of the poster display is 192 cm tall and 64 cm wide, that is 1.2288 m², and its resolution is 416 × 1248 pixels. Worked back from that, the actual pixel pitch is 1.538 mm and the pixel density 422,500 pixels/m² — both our own calculations from the resolution and image area published by the manufacturer. This is the densest grid in the range: the P2 GOB gives 250,000 and the P2.5 gives 160,000 pixels on the same square metre, so this model draws roughly two and a half times as many pixels as the entry version. The module face is a GOB build, which gives a more durable, more impact-resistant surface and a more even appearance. The mechanics are identical to the rest of the range: a folding frame, a wheeled base, 201 cm total height, 66 cm width, a 45 × 66 cm base, 45 kg weight, a refresh rate of at least 3,840 Hz, 700–800 nits of brightness, maximum draw of 0.8 kW and 3.6 A, and a built-in control unit with Wi-Fi, UTP and an audio port. The second item in the package is the 134 × 82 × 54 cm wheeled transport case, which by our own calculation is 0.59 m³.

When is the finest pixel grid justified?

Within two metres, with detail-rich content

A P1.5 pitch makes a visible difference when the viewer really does stand close: beside a reception desk, inside a boutique or a jeweller's, at a customer service window, at the entrance to a dealership, in a premium hotel lobby. From that distance a coarser grid looks grainy, and precisely the premium impression you put the surface up for is lost. The second condition is the content: small-type product data, a multi-line price list, a phone number, a QR code or a photorealistic product view. If the content is a large-type message, a logo and graphics made of large blocks of colour, then beyond three metres the picture of the P2 or even the P2.5 is practically the same — and there the premium brings no return. To be honest: this is the most expensive indoor version in the range, and we recommend it only when both of the above conditions are met.

What it costs, and against what

The whole indoor price ladder in one place

This package is about €2,630 net; related to the 1.2288 m² image area that is about €2,140 net/m² (calculated). The same poster display without the case is about €2,240 net, so the premium for the case is about €390 net. The whole indoor range, net: P2.5 about €1,630, P2.5 with a case about €1,990, P2 GOB about €1,740, P2 GOB with a case about €2,130, P1.5 GOB about €2,240 and P1.5 GOB with a case about €2,630, all indicative and exclusive of VAT. Two things follow from that. First, stepping from the P2.5 to the P2 costs about €115 net and gives 56 per cent more pixels — the best-value step in the range. Second, stepping from the P2 to the P1.5 costs about €500 net for 69 per cent more pixels; that pays off if the viewers really do stand at arm's length.

The case: when it is infrastructure, and when it is an unnecessary outlay

About the case the manufacturer's data sheet states the external dimensions — 134 × 82 × 54 cm, wheeled — from which our own calculation gives 0.59 m³. The weight of the case itself and the gross weight of the package are not stated on the data sheet, so we do not write such a figure down either. The decision comes back to a simple rule: if the device stays in one place after commissioning, the case is an unnecessary outlay of about €390 net, because the one-off delivery is carried out by the manufacturer in the base price. If, on the other hand, the device travels regularly — hire work, fairs, roadshows, between several sites — then the case is not a convenience item but equipment protection. With a poster display at this price point that is particularly true: here the surface is the most expensive component, and knocks in transit are the most common source of damage.

An indoor product: where it does not belong

The 700–800 nit brightness was made for indoor levels. In a sunlit shop window, on a terrace or outdoors this model looks washed out at midday — that calls for the outdoor cabinet build with 4,500–5,000 nits. Equally, we do not recommend it where the viewers are always beyond three metres: from that distance the picture of the P2.5 is the same, while the difference in price would cover a second unit or a whole year of content production. And if the surface goes onto a wall permanently and never moves, you are paying for a mobile frame and a case you never use: a cabinet LED wall is the more economical solution there.

Indoor P1.5 GOB LED poster display 64 × 192 cm + wheeled flight case — frequently asked questions

What does it cost, and how much of that is the case?

The package is about €2,630 net. The version without the case is about €2,240 net, so the premium for the case is about €390 net (all indicative, excluding VAT). The price includes delivery to your address, on-site installation of the control software, training and the manufacturer's full warranty.

How much more does it give than the P2 or the P2.5?

On the same 1.2288 m² surface the P2.5 gives 160,000, the P2 GOB 250,000 and this model 422,500 pixels per square metre (all three calculated from the manufacturer's resolution). That is roughly two and a half times the pixel density of the P2.5 — but it only shows from close up.

From what viewing distance is it worth it?

Within two metres, with detail-rich content. Beyond three metres the picture of the P2, and beyond five metres that of the P2.5, is practically the same, and there the premium does not pay for itself.

What is a GOB surface?

In a GOB (glue on board) build the face of the module is covered by a protective layer that makes the LEDs more resistant to impact and scratching. On a device that is regularly transported and packed that is a practical advantage rather than marketing copy — which is exactly why the flight case package suits it.

Can it be used without Wi-Fi?

Yes, the built-in control unit also has a UTP network port, so it can be connected by cable. In the customer areas of banks, insurers, healthcare providers and local authorities that is often not an option but an IT requirement.

What is the warranty?

The manufacturer's data sheet promises a full warranty without a specific duration — we do not fill that in with an invented number of years. We obtain the exact warranty period from the manufacturer in writing on a quote request and hand it over as an annex to the quote.
