The indoor P1.5 GOB LED poster display is the finest-resolution member of the mobile digital poster family in our range: 416 × 1248 pixels work across a 64 × 192 cm image area, which means an actual pixel pitch of 1.538 mm and a density of 422,500 pixels/m². That density is what makes this model worth choosing at all: the image does not break into pixels even from half a metre, so it belongs where the viewer stops at arm's length in front of it. The poster display stands on a wheeled base, folds, and has a built-in control unit with Wi-Fi, UTP and audio connections, so no separate media player has to be bought for it. Because of the minimum 3,840 Hz refresh, it does not band when filmed on a phone or a camera. The same model can also be ordered with a wheeled flight case, if the poster display will not stay in one place but travel from event to event. The technical data comes from the manufacturer's data sheet; where the manufacturer publishes no figure, we say so on this page and do not fill it in with an estimate.

Technical specifications
The P designation is a rounded category name; from the manufacturer's resolution the actual LED centre-to-centre distance is 1920/1248 = 1.538 mm. This determines how close you can stand before the image breaks up.
Images and video have to be produced at this size, in portrait format. Give this pair of numbers to your designer, and the content will be neither blurred nor cropped.
The product of 416 × 1248. For comparison: the P2 GOB version gives 307,200 and the P2.5 gives 196,608 pixels on the same surface.

Many interior doors have a clear opening of around 200 cm, so it will not necessarily fit through upright. We check the access route at the survey.
The 2 cm difference is the frame. Because of it, two units side by side leave a band of a few centimetres that does not illuminate — a seamless wall calls for a cabinet solution.
That is how much clear floor area it needs. It is on castors, so one person can push it aside for cleaning or rearranging.
We recommend two people for lifting; one person can push it on a flat floor. This figure decides whether help is needed for transport and for packing it into the case.
At 230 V that is about 828 W of load (calculated). A conventional 16 A circuit and a single socket are amply sufficient for it.

Who this pixel pitch is for — and when it is money thrown away
The two-metre boundary
The P1.5 designation is a rounded category name. The actual pitch can be calculated exactly from the manufacturer's resolution: 1920 mm divided by 1248 pixels is 1.538 mm, and the same comes out in the other direction (640 mm / 416 pixels). The practical meaning of pixel pitch is the distance from which the eye no longer sees separate points of light but a continuous image. Our own pitch recommendation engine gives a lower limit of 1.5 metres and an optimum of roughly 3 metres for this pitch. The decision rule follows: if the viewer typically looks at the surface from closer than two metres, this model is the right choice. Between two and three metres the P2 GOB version creates practically the same impression at a significantly lower price, and beyond three metres the P2.5 is amply sufficient. Beside a reception desk, on the interior wall of a boutique, in front of waiting-room seats, the fine raster is a real difference; seen from the far end of a fifteen-metre foyer, though, the difference is lost.
Folding or flight case version: what the €390 net premium decides
The same poster display can be ordered in two packages. The base version comes with a folding, wheeled base, at about €2,240 net. The flight case version adds a wheeled transport and storage case, measuring 134 × 82 × 54 cm, roughly 0.59 cubic metres. The premium is about €390 net, and apart from that single item the two packages are technically identical: the same resolution, weight and brightness. All figures are indicative and exclusive of VAT. The choice is therefore not technical but logistical. If the poster display goes into a waiting area and moves perhaps twice a year, the base version is enough. If, on the other hand, it travels in a vehicle, goes into storage between two events, or is handled by unfamiliar hands, the case is the only thing that protects the surface from knocks in transit. One comparison helps you decide: at about €2,130 net — roughly €115 less than the base version of this model — the P2 GOB poster display is available together with the flight case. In much the same price band you can therefore have either the finer raster or the transport protection — and for anyone loading in weekly, the case is worth more than the extra pixels.
What the GOB surface means in daily use
The abbreviation GOB refers to the manufacturing process in which the LEDs on the surface of the panel are enclosed in a transparent resin instead of standing exposed. The practical consequence shows up not primarily in image quality but in everyday handling. On a conventional, open LED surface, every touch is a risk: a black dot is left where a chip has shifted, and dust builds up between the chips. The cast surface reduces that vulnerability, the surface becomes wipeable, and it gives a more uniform plane instead of a granular effect. It really counts where the surface stands among people: at an event, where people bump into it; in a shop, where the customer touches it; in a waiting room, where children reach it too. The manufacturer's data sheet records the fact of the GOB build but publishes neither an impact resistance class nor cleaning agent compatibility with it, so we do not write such figures here either. If a specific mechanical protection rating appears in your specification, we request it from the manufacturer in writing before the order.
What is in the price and what is not — itemised
The manufacturer's package price contains more items than is usual on a display in this price range. It includes the poster display in the folding build, delivery to your address, on-site installation of the control software, training in its use and a full warranty; the system is built by an instructor with an electrical engineering qualification. On the flight case version the wheeled case is added to that. What is not in the price is also worth seeing itemised, because these are the things that tend to come up afterwards: designing and producing the content, any bespoke electrical installation, network cabling at the final position, the accessories needed to link several units, and later content management if it is not handled in-house. None of these is a hidden cost, in the sense that we say so in advance. The price per square metre can also be used as a comparison point: related to the 1.2288 m² image area, the base version comes to roughly €1,820 net/m² and the flight case version to about €2,140 net/m².
Current, consumption, monthly upper limit
The manufacturer publishes two electrical figures: maximum current draw of 3.6 amps and maximum power of 0.8 kilowatts. Several things can be derived from that. On a 230 volt supply, 3.6 amps means roughly 828 volt-amps of apparent power, so a standard 16 amp domestic or office circuit copes comfortably: a single conventional socket is enough and no separate feed has to be installed. The upper limit of consumption can also be calculated: at ten operating hours a day, at full brightness, over thirty days, 240 kilowatt-hours a month. That is deliberately the worst case, because the manufacturer gives no average consumption figure and we do not invent one in its place. In reality it is lower, since the screen rarely runs continuously at maximum, and content designed with a dark background consumes considerably less than one on a white base. If you want to price it with your own kilowatt-hour rate, multiply the 240 kilowatt-hours by the rate in your contract — that will be the monthly upper limit.
Transport, setting up, space requirement
The consequences of 45 kg and 201 cm
Forty-five kilograms: that figure settles a lot of questions before the poster display arrives. It is not worth lifting alone, but it is comfortable with two people, and because of the wheeled base one person can push it along a flat floor. The total height of 201 centimetres measured with the castors deserves attention: many interior doors have a clear opening height of around 200 centimetres, so the poster display will not necessarily fit through upright. The 66 centimetre width passes through most doors; height is the bottleneck. The manufacturer does not give the folded dimensions, so we always check this at the site survey before the order is finalised. The base is 45 × 66 centimetres, which is roughly 0.30 m² of floor area. The case on the flight case version is 134 × 82 × 54 centimetres: it typically fits into the boot of a larger estate car with the seats down, but not into an average saloon.
Control, content and linking several units
A built-in control unit works inside the poster display, so no media player or computer has to be stood beside it. The connection is over Wi-Fi, a UTP network cable or an audio port. The wired UTP connection will matter where the guest Wi-Fi is congested or the IT policy does not allow a foreign device onto the network: in a bank branch, a clinic or a public service point this is regularly the decisive consideration. The content has to be prepared in a 416 × 1248 pixel portrait format; it is worth giving that size to the designer, because working from it the image will be neither blurred nor cropped. According to the manufacturer, the control of several units can be linked, so a larger continuous surface can be built: two units side by side give 832 × 1248 pixels, three units 1248 × 1248. One thing is worth watching: the image area is 64 centimetres wide but the product is 66, so a few centimetres of non-illuminating band remains between units stood side by side. If a seamless surface is the goal, a cabinet video wall is the right solution for that.
Who we do not recommend it to
There are four situations in which we honestly talk people out of this model. The first is the shop window: at 700–800 nits this is an indoor product, and in direct sunlight behind glass the image will look washed out — that calls for the outdoor 4,500–5,000 nit version. The second is a surface viewed from a distance: if the audience regularly sees it from five to ten metres, nobody will notice the P1.5's extra pixels and the difference is lost. The third is a permanent, wall-mounted appearance: if the surface never moves, the premium paid for the wheeled base, the folding structure and the mobility burdens the budget unnecessarily, and a cabinet wall is the more economical option. The fourth is outdoor, public-facing, continuous operation: the manufacturer intended this model for indoor use, publishes no ingress protection rating for it, and on top of that a public-space position may carry a planning notification requirement.
What the manufacturer's data sheet does not state
The manufacturer's data sheet omits several figures that a thorough buyer is right to ask about. There is no ingress protection rating on it, the warranty duration is not given in months or years, and the viewing angle, the contrast ratio, the expected lifespan of the LEDs in operating hours, the colour temperature, the colour depth, the average operating consumption, the folded dimensions and the operating temperature range are all missing. We do not fill these values in with our own estimates, because a figure written on a product page later becomes a contractual promise. What we do undertake: if any of them is decisive for your procurement, we request it from the manufacturer in writing before the order and pass the answer on in writing in the same way. In public procurement and in banking or healthcare purchasing, that is the difference that tends to count, not the length of the product description.

Why is the pixel pitch 1.538 mm if the product is called P1.5?
The P designation is a rounded category name, not a measured value. From the manufacturer's resolution the actual pitch can be calculated exactly: 1920 mm of image height divided by 1248 pixels gives 1.538 mm, and the same comes out across the width. In practice it is not a perceptible difference, but it is worth entering the exact value in technical specifications.
Is the more expensive P1.5 worth it instead of the P2 GOB?
Only if the viewer stands closer than two metres. The P1.5 gives 422,500 pixels per square metre instead of the P2's 250,000, that is 69 per cent more, for a premium of about €500 net. Beyond two metres that difference is effectively invisible, so the P2 version is the rational decision there.
How much does it consume, and what will the monthly electricity bill be?
The manufacturer gives a maximum of 0.8 kilowatts. At ten operating hours a day at full brightness, that is an upper limit of 240 kilowatt-hours a month; real consumption is lower, because the screen rarely runs continuously at maximum. The manufacturer publishes no average consumption figure, so we do not estimate one either: multiply the 240 kilowatt-hours by your own kilowatt-hour rate.
Does it need a separate circuit or heavy-current installation?
No. Maximum current draw is 3.6 amps, which on a 230 volt supply is roughly 828 watts of load, so a conventional 16 amp circuit and a single socket are enough for it. If you want to connect several poster displays to the same circuit, we have that checked on site by an electrician during the survey.
Can I put it in the shop window or on the terrace?
We do not recommend it. This is an indoor product with 700–800 nits of brightness, which stays washed out behind sunlit shop window glass, and the manufacturer publishes no ingress protection rating for it, so it cannot be exposed to moisture either. For a shop window and for outdoors, the 4,500–5,000 nit outdoor cabinet P2.5 version is the right one.
Will it stand up to being packed up and moved from event to event weekly?
That is what the folding build and the wheeled flight case were made for, but the manufacturer gives no figure for the number of packing cycles or mechanical load capacity, so neither do we claim one. For regular transport we recommend the flight case version, and before the order we set out in writing what the warranty covers under mobile use.
What is the warranty and what happens if it develops a fault?
The manufacturer provides a full warranty but does not state a duration on its data sheet. We do not invent one in its place: we request the specific warranty period and the service terms in writing before the order and set them out in the order. The poster display has a modular build, made up of twenty-four 16 × 32 cm modules.
Will my colleague be able to operate it if they are not an IT specialist?
The manufacturer's package includes on-site installation of the control software and training in its use, so you do not receive the device and get left to it. Content is uploaded over Wi-Fi or a network cable. Artwork has to be prepared in a 416 × 1248 pixel portrait format; it is worth passing that size to your designer.
