This P4 outdoor LED video wall measures 512×288 cm, with a resolution of 1280×720 px and 7000 nits of brightness. We supply it with IP65 protection, a redundant power supply and a Nova Star controller. It is the typical size and configuration of stadium jumbotrons, open-air festivals and public-space video walls; it is optimal at a viewing distance of 10–40 metres. The modules come with a 100,000-hour lifespan, our own service backing and spare parts held in stock.
Outdoor LED video wall P4 – 512×288 cm
The 512×288 cm version of the P4 outdoor LED video wall is the most widespread size for premium outdoor video display in the region. On a jumbotron-sized surface, live relay, sports event replays and promotional video content can all be shown at enjoyable quality within a viewing distance of 10–40 metres. The IP65 modules and the redundant system provide reliable operation in the open air in changeable weather, in cold and in heat above 30 degrees alike.

Live event relay
How is the outdoor LED video wall used for live relay?
A camera signal (HD-SDI or HDMI) can be displayed directly through the controller card with no latency. At a sports event that means those sitting at the other end of the pitch also see the play live, with a full-quality picture, on the LED video wall. With an optional video mixer connection, text and graphics can be mixed over the live image; within a viewing distance of 10–40 metres the 4 mm pixel pitch does not look grainy even from closer in.
Transport and logistics
How is the 512×288 cm LED video wall transported?
The modules are individually hand-carryable units of about 8–10 kg, transported in dedicated flight cases. A 512×288 cm configuration comes to roughly 4 pallets or 2 van loads. For event hire, Korád-Trade transports and installs on site, then strikes it just as quickly after the event.
Why it stands up to the weather
Outdoor use is the greatest test for a LED wall: rain, frost, UV radiation and temperature swings all put the electronics through their paces. IP65 protection guards the modules against dust and water jets alike, and a redundant power supply means that the failure of a single power supply does not take out a whole section of wall, because another unit takes over the load immediately. We do not fit no-name modules from mixed production runs but pre-colour-calibrated panels from the same batch, so that no colour difference is visible between different sections of the wall even after months. The nominal 100,000-hour lifespan means, with outdoor seasonal use (a few months of summer festivals), potentially a decade of service, and 20+ years of operating time even at continuous use of 12+ hours a day.
Operation, consumption and servicing
The peak brightness of 7000 nits gives a clearly visible image even in direct sunlight, but the controller automatically reduces brightness at dusk and at night so as not to dazzle, and consumption drops considerably in the evening hours as a result. For live content the system accepts HDMI, HD-SDI and DVI inputs, and it is operated with the same simple cloud-based or local software as the indoor walls, handed over with training. In the event of a fault, the modular, front-serviceable design and the spare parts stock mean that a replacement can typically be resolved on site in minutes, with no waiting days on a foreign supplier.
Typical applications
Outdoor LED video wall P4 – 512×288 cm — frequently asked questions
Can a live camera feed be played directly on the outdoor LED video wall?
Yes. Over an HDMI or HD-SDI input the live camera signal appears on the LED video wall with close to zero latency (< 1 frame). With a video mixer, sports statistics and graphics can also be mixed over the live image.
How large a safety zone is needed around the outdoor LED video wall?
For an open public-space installation, a safety distance of at least 2 metres from the foot of the wall is recommended. At an event it is the organiser's responsibility to establish the safety area in accordance with the local fire service requirements.
Will it stand up to winter as well as summer heat?
Yes. The IP65-rated modules are designed to operate across a wide temperature range, and the redundant power supply ensures continuous operation even in extreme conditions.
Is consent needed for a public-space LED video wall of this size?
For a public-space position, a planning notification or consent from the local authority is typically required; we help with that process after the site survey, and the specific steps depend on the location.
How long does the wall last under continuous, seasonal use?
The modules are built with a nominal lifespan of 100,000 operating hours, which with regular calibration can mean a decade of intensive seasonal operation without significant loss of brightness.
Is there a free site survey before installation?
Yes, every larger outdoor project starts with a site survey, where we record the dimensions, the fixing options and the consent steps required.
