In short

The 2.6 × 3.85 metre (10 m²) P4 outdoor LED video wall is built with a 4 mm pixel pitch, a resolution of roughly 650×962 pixels and brightness above 4200 cd/m²; its recommended viewing distance starts above 10 metres. Average consumption is 262 W/m², staying below 786 W/m² at peak, and lifespan is 100,000 operating hours – 10+ years even in continuous use. It comes with IP65 protection in a modular, front-serviceable build, with Wi-Fi/LAN control, hands-on training and service backing.

Outdoor LED video wall P4 – 2.6 × 3.85 m (10 m²)

The 2.6 × 3.85 metre P4 outdoor LED video wall is recommended where the viewing distance is inherently greater – a spacious car park, a major roadside location or a large town square, for example. At that distance the coarser 4 mm pixel pitch gives just as sharp an image as a denser P3 display, while the production cost is lower, which means a more favourable investment. In every other respect – brightness, contrast, lifespan, control – the P4 wall represents the same professional standard as our P3 range, so it is not a compromise but a choice sensibly matched to the site. At this size too, installation starts with a free site survey, and commissioning ends with training so that the client's team can manage the surface confidently.

When to choose P4 instead of P3

The choice of pixel pitch depends above all on the intended viewing distance: if the audience typically views the wall from beyond 10 metres – from a motorway lane, a spacious car park or the far side of a large square – the P4 raster gives just as sharp, pixel-free an image as a denser P3 display, simply at a lower capital cost. That means the client achieves the same visual effect while the payback period works out more favourably. We always recommend making the decision on the basis of the site conditions and the intended position, and we help with that during the site survey – which is always free of charge and carries no obligation.

The same professional technology, not lower quality

It is worth stressing that choosing a P4 raster involves no compromise in the quality of the technology: the wall has the same high brightness, contrast, refresh rate and IP65 protection as our P3 range. It is built from the same batch of selected, bin-matched LED chips, so it will not become a cobbled-together surface with mismatched patches over time, as so often happens with cheap, no-name solutions assembled from mixed sources. The modular cabinet build, the Wi-Fi/LAN based control and the scheduling functions are also entirely the same, so the convenience and reliability of operation fall no way short of the denser pixel pitch – the only difference is the greater physical distance between the pixels.

Operation and consumption

The wall's average consumption is 262 W per square metre and does not exceed 786 W per square metre even at peak load, which across 10 square metres means an average continuous load of around 2.6 kW – an easily budgeted monthly cost, not a hidden surprise. Control is over a Wi-Fi or LAN connection from a simple application: if you can write an email, you will confidently handle changing content, scheduling and brightness control with no separate IT background. Training is part of the handover in every case, so the surface can be managed independently from day one.

No hidden costs – a transparent quote

Many people worry that in a LED video wall investment the support structure, the controller or the installation will turn out to be a separate, surprise line at the end. With us the quote is always itemised: the price of the wall, the support structure, the control system and the on-site installation appear on separate lines, so you can see exactly what the whole project costs before you decide. The warranty and the training are included in the price, not services available at an extra charge. Our own service team and spare parts held in regional stock also guarantee that any fault means neither a long, unpredictable outage nor an unexpected extra cost in future.

Outdoor LED video wall P4 – 2.6 × 3.85 m (10 m²) — frequently asked questions

How much cheaper is a P4 wall than a P3?

Because of the coarser pixel pitch, the production cost of a P4 wall is lower, which gives a more favourable capital price for the same surface area, while at a greater viewing distance the image quality is visually entirely equivalent to the P3 solution.

From what viewing distance is the P4 raster recommended?

We typically recommend the P4 display for viewing distances above 10 metres, since at that distance the gap between the pixels is no longer perceptible and the image looks just as sharp as one from a denser raster.

Is there any difference in brightness or durability compared with P3?

No. The P4 wall has the same professional characteristics – brightness, contrast, lifespan, IP65 protection – as the P3 product family; only the pixel density differs.

What is the warranty and who repairs it if it fails?

We provide a manufacturer's warranty on the system and hold spare parts in stock; a module can be replaced from the front in minutes by our own service team, with no waiting for a spare part from abroad.

How will I be able to manage the content?

Through a Wi-Fi or LAN based application with a simple interface – if you can write an email, you can handle this. Training is part of the handover, so you can manage the surface from day one.

Is there a site survey, and do I have to pay for it?

Yes, every project starts with a free site survey in which we examine the support structure, the power supply and network availability before we issue a quote.
