In short

The 2.6 × 4.5 metre (11.7 m²) P4 outdoor LED video wall has a 4 mm pixel pitch, a resolution of roughly 650×1125 pixels and brightness above 4200 cd/m², optimised for viewing distances over 10 metres. Consumption averages 262 W/m² and stays below 786 W/m² at peak; lifespan is 100,000 operating hours, or 10+ years. It is an IP65-rated, modular, front-serviceable build with Wi-Fi/LAN control, hands-on training and service backing.

Outdoor LED video wall P4 – 2.6 × 4.5 m (11.7 m²)

The 2.6 × 4.5 metre P4 outdoor LED video wall is ideal for projects where a larger surface and cost efficiency both matter and the viewing distance already exceeds 10 metres. At this size too, the coarser pixel pitch gives just as sharp and professional an image from the right distance as a denser P3 display, while the capital cost works out more favourably. In every other respect – brightness, durability, control – the wall matches our premium P3 range, so the main argument for it is a sensible balance between commanding size and investment. Installation is always preceded by a site survey and commissioning ends with training, so that managing the surface runs smoothly from day one.

A large surface at a more favourable investment

When the goal is a genuinely large, attention-grabbing LED video wall but the site means the audience views the surface from a distance anyway, the P4 raster is the optimal choice at larger sizes too. The 11.5 square metre build is aimed specifically at projects where commanding size matters – a roadside advertising tower or the entrance to a large industrial site, for example – while the client wants to make the most efficient possible use of the available budget. The larger surface keeps its professional appearance with a P4 raster, because from the appropriate viewing distance the pixel structure is not perceptible at all.

Quality: not no-name, but bin-matched LED chips

On an 11.5 square metre wall, typically in a highly visible location, it is especially important that the surface stays uniform for years, without mismatched, faded patches forming. That is guaranteed by selected LED chips from the same production batch and by in-process quality control, not by the cheapest solution assembled from mixed sources. We hold spare parts in stock, a failed module can be replaced from the front in minutes, and our own service team stands behind it – no waiting weeks for a spare part from abroad.

Delivery, operation and payback

With this product too, the installation process starts with the usual thorough site survey, in which we examine the support structure, the power supply and network availability. Choosing a P4 raster reduces the capital sum for the same surface area, which can produce a shorter payback period, particularly at sites where size and brightness are the primary considerations anyway rather than maximum pixel density. The wall's average consumption is 262 W per square metre, which across 11.5 square metres means a continuous load of around 3 kW, with a well-plannable monthly cost. Commissioning, calibration and training are carried out with the same thoroughness as on our P3 range, and the control is simple enough to be handled with no separate IT background.

Control and content management day to day

Day-to-day management of the wall is through a Wi-Fi or LAN based application, where changing content, setting the schedule and regulating brightness take a few clicks – if you can write an email, you can handle this confidently. Training is part of the handover in every case, so the client's team can refresh the content displayed independently from day one, with no need to call in an outside company for every change of wording. The system can also set scheduled messages, so promotions, changes of opening hours or seasonal campaigns can be programmed in advance, with no print costs and no physical posting.

Outdoor LED video wall P4 – 2.6 × 4.5 m (11.7 m²) — frequently asked questions

Why is it larger than the standard P4 product?

This build is for those who want to take advantage of the economics of the P4 raster in an even larger, even more eye-catching size, typically at sites where commanding size is also an important consideration.

How much faster does it pay back than a P3 wall of the same size?

Exact payback varies from site to site, but because of the lower capital cost of the P4 raster it typically produces a more favourable payback period for the same surface area, especially at sites with long viewing distances.

Does the larger size require a special support structure?

During the site survey we always engineer the support structure individually to the weight and size of the wall and to the wind load on site, so the larger size poses no problem with proper design.

How much does this 11.7 m² wall consume per month?

Average consumption is around 262 W/m², which across the whole surface means an average load of about 3 kW; that produces a well-plannable, predictable running cost.

Who carries out the installation and how long does it take?

We handle the whole process from a single source: survey, manufacture, support structure design, installation, commissioning and training. We give the precise lead time after the site survey.

Is consent needed to put up a wall of this size?

For a public-space or highly visible facade position, a planning notification or consent from the local authority is typically required; we help with that process so that it does not hold up the project.
