In short

The P2.5 indoor module is the base module for large-format, economical indoor walls: with a 2.5 mm pixel pitch and a resolution of 160,000 pixels/m² it gives an excellent picture from a viewing distance of around 6–7.5 metres. Its average consumption is only 126 W/m² (380 W/m² at peak), the lowest in the indoor GOB series. The GOB casting gives an impact-, dust- and moisture-resistant surface, in a front-serviceable build. With ≥400 cd/m² brightness it is optimised for spaces with normal indoor lighting, and offers excellent value on large-format walls.

LED module P2.5 indoor – GOB

The P2.5 indoor module is ideal for projects where the size of the wall — often 10, 20 or 50 square metres — is a bigger factor than the finest pixel detail. In event halls, larger showrooms and on the interior walls of shopping centres, where viewers typically see the picture from several metres away, this pitch gives the best price-per-square-metre ratio within the GOB series. The ≥400 cd/m² brightness is optimised for normal, artificially lit indoor spaces — if the space gets a lot of natural light, our brighter, high-brightness P2.5 GOB version may be the better choice. GOB technology again gives an impact-, dust- and moisture-resistant, homogeneous surface, in a front-serviceable build, with quality SMD1515/2020 LED chips and bin-matched colour selection. The module's average consumption is only 126 W/m², a particularly important operating consideration on large surfaces.

When size is the deciding factor

On large indoor walls of several square metres — in event halls, shopping centre atriums, larger showrooms — P2.5 is often the more sensible choice than a finer pitch, because viewers typically see the display from 6–7.5 metres or more, at which distance the extra detail of the P1 series is no longer perceptible. The lower pixel density per square metre also means lower purchase and running costs, which on large surfaces — where the number of modules is many times that of a smaller wall — adds up to a significant sum. At the free site survey we always examine the actual viewing distances, so that you do not pay unnecessarily for a finer pitch in a space where it will not pay for itself visually.

The most economical member of the indoor GOB series

The P2.5 indoor module's average consumption is only 126 W/m², with a peak of 380 W/m² — the lowest figure across the whole indoor GOB range, significantly less than the P1.25's 231 W/m². On a large wall of several dozen square metres running many hours a day, that difference amounts to a serious sum on the electricity bill over the years. The ≥400 cd/m² brightness is optimised for typical, artificially lit indoor spaces — an office atrium, an event hall, a shopping centre — where there is no strong, direct sunlight on the display. If the space gets a lot of natural light through windows, it is worth choosing the high-brightness P2.5 GOB version, so that the picture does not wash out in the ambient light.

GOB protection on large surfaces too

On the P2.5 module too, the quality SMD1515/2020 LED chips are cast into a transparent layer of resin — this is the essence of GOB technology, which gives impact, dust and moisture resistance and results in a homogeneous, scratch-resistant surface. On large-format walls this matters especially, since the bigger the wall, the greater the chance that someone will bump into it or bring dust or moisture near it — here GOB protection is not a luxury but long-term reliability. The panel is front serviceable, so replacing a faulty module does not require dismantling scaffolding or gaining access to the space behind the wall, even on a large installation, which significantly reduces service time and cost.

Installation on high-volume projects

On large walls made up of many modules, the guarantee of bin-matched colour is particularly important — we select the quality LED chips by production batch, so that every point of the wall stays uniform and no patches or bands develop. The HUB75 signal interface is a widely used industry standard, which makes control and expansion straightforward even on large systems. Installation, the logistics of high-volume projects and the training are coordinated by our own team, and with a Warranty+ package spare parts also come from a local store rather than from a shipment abroad with weeks of waiting — a particularly important safeguard on large, critical walls.

LED module P2.5 indoor – GOB — frequently asked questions

Why is P2.5 cheaper than the P1 series on a large surface?

It contains fewer LED chips and pixels per square metre, so the unit price and the consumption are both lower — on large walls with many modules that difference multiplies, while from a viewing distance of 6–7.5 metres you lose nothing in image quality.

Will it be bright enough in a light room with windows?

The ≥400 cd/m² brightness is optimal for typical, artificially lit indoor spaces; if the room gets a lot of direct sunlight we recommend our high-brightness P2.5 GOB (≥500 cd/m²) version instead.

How much does a 20–30 square metre P2.5 wall consume?

126 W/m² on average and 380 W/m² at peak — the most economical figure in the indoor GOB range; on a 20 m² wall that means an average of around 2.5 kW with typical, mixed content.

Is uniform colour guaranteed on a large wall too?

Yes — we select the quality SMD1515/2020 LED chips by production batch, which is especially important on large walls with many modules, so that no visible bands or patches develop across the surface.

How long does it take you to install a large-format wall?

That depends on the size of the wall and the conditions at the site, so we give a precise schedule during the free site survey — in any case module replacement and servicing are done from the front, with no scaffolding to dismantle.
