In short

The P10 outdoor seven-colour LED module works with seven preprogrammed colours, in a 16×32 cm panel size with a 10 mm pixel pitch, which gives a perfectly sharp picture from a viewing distance of around 8–15 metres. Its brightness is above 4200 cd/m², so it does not wash out even in direct sunlight, and with outdoor IP65 protection it stands up to any weather. Its service life is 100,000 operating hours — 20+ years in normal daily use — and the minimum order starts at 5 units. It is an ideal choice for shop portals and company signs, where catching the eye is the aim but full video graphics are not yet needed.

LED module P10 outdoor, seven-colour

The seven-colour P10 module is made for those looking for a livelier, more eye-catching solution than conventional single-colour lettering, without having to invest in a full RGB video wall. The panel switches between the seven base colours cyclically or according to a control programme, so the lettering literally draws the eye. It is built in an outdoor version with IP65 protection, so rain, damp and dust cause no problems, and the modules are built from quality, bin-matched LED chips rather than cheap components from mixed sources. It is modularly expandable, so you can add further elements to an existing surface later on, and any element that fails can be replaced from the front in minutes.

When the seven-colour solution is worth choosing

Many shops and hospitality venues want their outdoor lettering to be not merely informative but a genuine eye-catching element in the streetscape. The seven-colour P10 module answers exactly that middle requirement: it does not cost as much as a full-colour video wall, yet it makes a far livelier impression than a conventional single-colour scrolling sign. Switching between the seven colours can be programmed from the control software, so you can give the lettering a different mood depending on the time of day, a promotion or the season. Common uses are restaurant opening-hours boards, entrance lettering for service businesses, and supplementary panels alongside price boards at petrol stations. The module is designed so that the colour switching does not disturb the legibility of the text — contrast and brightness stay adequate in every colour. If you also want to display full video content in future, it is better to choose the full-colour P10 module; this product is optimised specifically for static or slowly changing lettered display.

Installation and expandability

Modular system and replacement

The 16×32 cm panel size fits existing outdoor LED systems with a standard HUB75 connection, so if one or two modules fail on an older surface, this type is a one-for-one replacement — there is no need to replace the whole wall. The layout is flexible: from a small, single-row strip of lettering to a larger portal sign several metres across, the surface can be assembled in any size, since the modules can be joined both horizontally and vertically. Installation is onto an outdoor bracket or into a frame system, which we can put together in the quote along with the power supplies and controller. Because the order starts at a minimum of 5 units, the project can be executed economically even for smaller lettering. The 100,000-hour service life effectively guarantees decades of low-maintenance operation, which over the long term significantly reduces running costs compared with a conventional illuminated sign.

Control and operation — a simple interface

The colour switching and any text content are controlled from a simple software interface that does not need an IT specialist: if you can write an email, you can confidently set up a scheduled colour programme or a text change. Training is part of the handover on every order, so the shop's or service business's staff can operate the lettering independently from day one. There are no hidden costs: the module, the power supply, the controller and the installation appear as separate items in the quote, so you can see exactly what the whole system costs.

Quality you can rely on

Many buyers worry that an outdoor LED module will fade or become uneven within a few years — which is typically what happens with cheap solutions assembled from no-name components of mixed origin. Our P10 modules are built from selected LED chips from the same production batch, with in-process quality control, so the colours and brightness stay uniform for years. We also hold spare parts in regional stock with service backing behind them, so if an element does fail, it can be replaced from the front in minutes, with no weeks of waiting for a delivery from abroad.

LED module P10 outdoor, seven-colour — frequently asked questions

Do the seven colours appear at once or in rotation?

It can be set depending on the control programme: it can rotate continuously, or be fixed to one colour; most customers choose automatic switching because it catches the eye more.

Can this module be used to extend an existing outdoor P10 surface?

Yes — because of the standard 16×32 cm size and the HUB75 connection it is compatible with most P10 systems on the market, but it is worth checking the colour handling against the existing controller.

From what distance is the lettering clearly legible?

Because of the 10 mm pitch the image becomes genuinely sharp from around 8–15 metres; closer up the pixel structure may be visible.

What is the warranty, and what happens if a module fails?

We give a manufacturer's warranty on the modules and hold spare parts in stock; a faulty element can be replaced from the front in minutes, with service backing behind it.

Is the control software complicated to use?

No, the interface is simple and training is part of every order — if you can write an email, you can handle this confidently day to day.

What is its service life, and when will it need replacing?

The service life of the LED chips is 100,000 operating hours, which with average daily use means more than 20 years of low-maintenance operation.
