No cable runs to it, so you can put the sofa where the view and the flow of guests are best, not where the socket happens to be. On a hotel terrace or a rooftop that often means the illuminated furniture can go in the best spot, rather than against the wall.
Outdoors, rain, handling the cushion
The body is polyethylene, IP54 water-resistant, UV-resistant, impact-resistant and able to cope with extreme temperatures, so it can stay where it is for the whole season. The cushion is the one part that is not: it is worth bringing in after closing or before rain. The practical routine of a terrace operation: cushion out in the morning, cushion in after closing, body wiped down with a damp cloth once a week. With that there is no upholstery cleaning, no musty smell, and the set is in usable condition every day.
