The version without a glass top matters for event use — over one evening plenty of hands touch it and it ends up in plenty of places, and there is no fragile part to protect. Where standing tables are needed in numbers, this is the piece that scales best.

How many guests a Ø58 top serves
The circumference is 182 cm. At 50 cm per person three guests stand around it comfortably; four is already a squeeze. That is a deliberate size: it is not trying to seat a dinner party but to organise groups of people talking. For a 100-person reception, 25–30 of these tables is the realistic number if you want everyone to have somewhere to put their glass. Work with fewer tables and the glasses end up on the window ledge and on the floor.
8 kg: what it means when setting up
This is the lightest 110 cm high table in the range. One person carries two at a time, so 30 tables with two people is eight trips — realistically half an hour. With a 15 kg table the same job is twice the time and twice the people. It counts during changeovers too: if the space has to be rearranged during the programme, staff can move tables as they go, among the guests. In the second half of a reception, when room has to be made in front of the stage, that happens often.
Light, running time, safety
A 5200 mAh battery, 6–8 hours of lighting depending on the colour — the stretch between 6 pm and midnight is covered on a single charge. The seven colours are switched by remote control on every table at once. No cable runs to it, so there is no trip hazard in the guest area and no cable ramps. At a reception with 30 tables that is the difference that makes illuminated standing tables possible at all — with a mains solution you would have 30 extension leads to cover and clean around.
Outdoors, cleaning, storage
IP54 water-resistant, UV-resistant, impact-resistant polyethylene body, able to cope with extreme temperatures. It can be used on a terrace or in a garden without worry, and a shower does it no harm. The top wipes down with a damp cloth, and with no glass top there is nothing to watch for cracks. In the load space, at Ø58 cm, eight pieces fit upright in a single layer on a 1.7 × 3 metre floor; more fit lying down, but then the top has to be protected.
When you need a larger top instead
The Ø58 cm top is made for a glass-based reception. If guests eat standing up — a tasting, a buffet, canapés — a plate and a glass no longer fit at once and guests start piling things on the window ledge. That is where the Ø80 top model is needed. The practical solution is a mix: two thirds of the tables can be slim, with the third around the bar and the buffet having large tops. That keeps both the space requirement and the cost in check, while there is more surface exactly where it is really needed. At a 100-person reception that comes to roughly 18 slim and 8 large tables.
