One table's own footprint is barely more than a quarter of a square metre, so in a gallery it takes no room away from the pictures and at a product launch none from the product. Two stools go with one table, the third side being for those standing. Nine pieces, 66 kg, and none of them heavier than 8 kg.

How many guests three tables serve
The circumference of a Ø58 cm top is 182 cm, with three guests standing around it comfortably and four at a squeeze. The three tables therefore give 9-12 guests somewhere to put things down at any one time, and the six stools serve those who would sit for a longer conversation. At a reception for 15-20 people that is enough because guests do not all stand at the tables at once: in a gallery they spend most of their time in front of the pictures, at a product launch around the product, returning to their glass only now and then. If the programme includes a long stretch of standing conversation and everyone needs a place at the same time, reckon on five to seven tables for 20 people and extend the package with further tables.
Small footprint, scattered layout
With one stool on each of two sides of a table, the diameter of the group is 58 + 2 x 45 = 148 cm, 1.5 metres rounded. Lined up in a row with 1.5 metre passages between the tables, the three groups take a strip of 7.5 x 1.5 metres, about 11 m2. A scattered layout is better still: put the three tables in a triangle, 3-4 metres apart, and let the flow of guests run between the groups. The own footprint of the nine pieces comes to about 1.8 m2 in total, so most of the space stays free. If room is needed in front of the stage during the programme, the groups can be moved aside in minutes.
Nine batteries, uniform light
All nine pieces have one 5200 mAh battery each, 46,800 mAh in total. That is convenient because the tables and the stools run on identical cells, and the manufacturer states the same 6-8 hours for every one of them, depending on the colour. An opening or a launch is typically shorter than that, so the light will certainly last. Among the seven colours you choose one to suit the colour scheme of the exhibition or the product, and the remote control switches all nine pieces together. The furniture gives single-colour light and projects no image, so it does not compete with the works on show or the product being presented - it only frames them.
Setting up with two people in three trips
The nine pieces weigh 66 kg: three tables at 3 x 8 kg and six stools at 6 x 7 kg. One person carries two pieces of either type at a time, so two people have everything inside in three trips, or one person in five. With nine items we check stock piece by piece, and if one type is in short supply we offer a slim table or a high stool of similar size instead. Between two events the job is wiping down - there is no glass top on the table to protect and no seam on the round stool for crumbs to settle into - and charging the nine pieces the day before the next reception.
