The L shape of the 110 cm high series: one straight 90 cm element with an upper shelf, one with side storage, and an 80 x 80 cm corner, all 80 cm deep. A larger counter surface for a hotel pool bar and a festival VIP bar. Three pieces, 69 kg, five batteries.
L-shaped LED bar counter set (C176-C178): element with upper shelf + element with side storage + corner element
When a lot of things stand on the counter at once - a tray, an ice bin, fruit, glasses in two rows - depth counts for more than length. This L is built from the 110 cm high series: a straight element with an upper shelf (C177), a straight element with side storage (C176) and an 80 x 80 cm corner (C178). All three are 80 cm deep, 10 cm deeper than the elements of the 109.5 cm C181 series. We designed it for hotel pool bars and festival VIP bars, where the counter is both a work surface and a serving surface. The seven colours switch together on all three elements, and none of them needs a cable.

Technical specifications
What the 80 cm depth gives you
The arms are 80 + 90 = 170 cm long and the counter is 80 cm deep throughout. The own footprint of the three elements is 0.64 + 2 x 0.72 = 2.08 m2, against 1.92 m2 for the C181 L - so this counter gives about 8% more top surface within nearly the same overall dimensions of 1.7 x 1.7 metres. In practice the depth pays off on the barman's side: you serve from the band nearest the guest and prepare behind it, and the two bands do not run into each other. In a pool bar this is where the fruit bowl and the ice can stay on the counter without having to dodge the guest's glass.
The trade-off: a tighter barman's square
What the depth gives on the counter, it takes from the space inside. Here a 90 x 90 cm square is left for the barman between the two arms, against 102 x 102 cm in the C181 L. That is comfortable for one barman and tight for two - if two people work at peak time, the second should stand at the open side, at the end of an arm, not in the square. It is also worth knowing that two batteries in the straight elements is not a peculiarity of this series: the C181 straight elements also have two cells, and larger ones at 5600 mAh. So choose this set for the deeper counter, not for the battery.
Pool bar and festival VIP: running it through a season
Beside a pool the counter meets splashing water, sunshine and hands covered in sun cream. The IP54 protected, UV-resistant, impact-resistant polyethylene body copes with that, but it is not made for immersion, so keep it far enough from the edge of the pool that splashes do not hit it directly. A damp cloth is enough for cleaning; there is no grouting and no textile on it. At a festival the VIP bar often stands somewhere different every day, and what counts there is that it needs no power while in use, so the counter can be put down anywhere the ground is level. Five batteries work in it - two 5200 mAh cells in each straight element and one in the corner - 26,000 mAh in total, with 6-8 hours of light per element according to the manufacturer.
Handling, load space, stock
The L weighs 69 kg: two straight elements at 25 kg each and the corner at 19 kg. Two people, three trips, one element per trip; at doorways and on stairs measure the opening in advance because of the 80 cm depth. In the load space the three elements one behind the other take a strip 90 + 90 + 80 = 260 cm long and 80 cm wide, which fits on a 3 metre floor. When ordering we check the elements one by one. If one happens to be unavailable, we can offer the element with the same function from the 109.5 cm series, but bear in mind that it is 70 cm deep, so it is best not to mix the two series within one counter, because the front face will not run in a straight line.
What the set price covers, and how much you save with it
The set consists of 3 pieces: 1 LED bar counter with upper shelf (C177), 1 LED bar counter corner element (C178) and 1 LED bar counter with side storage (C176). Bought separately, the pieces cost more than the set: the set price is 5% lower than their combined list price, and that 5% is exactly what you save compared with ordering the pieces one by one. The price applicable to you is shown above on this page. The price covers the furniture; we set out the method and cost of delivery in the confirmation of your order request, once we know the venue. If you need fewer or more of any piece in the set, write it in the comment field of the order request - we will calculate the discount on the actual composition in the confirmation.
Typical applications
L-shaped LED bar counter set (C176-C178): element with upper shelf + element with side storage + corner element — frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the C181 L-shaped set?
It is deeper: 80 cm instead of 70, giving about 8% more counter surface within nearly the same overall dimensions. In return the barman's inner square is 90 x 90 cm against 102 x 102 cm in the C181, and the cells here are 5200 mAh.
How many barmen fit behind it?
One comfortably, in the 90 x 90 cm square between the two arms. If two of you work at peak time, the second should stand at the end of an arm, on the open side, so that you do not get in each other's way in the corner.
Can it stay outside beside the pool?
Yes, the body is IP54 protected, UV-resistant and impact-resistant, and splashing water and sunshine do it no harm. It is not made for immersion, though, so do not put it right at the edge of the pool. A damp cloth is enough for cleaning.
How many batteries are there in the C176-C178 L?
Five: two 5200 mAh cells in each straight element and one in the corner element. That is 26,000 mAh in total, and the manufacturer states 6-8 hours of lighting for all three elements, depending on the colour chosen. The five cells of the C181 L give 28,000 mAh by comparison.
