The 320×450 cm size is for projects where the LED video wall is the central visual element of the production. In a TV studio it works as a broadcast-grade backdrop combined with real-time graphics; in a sports hall it earns its keep as a scoreboard and a sponsor surface; in an event room it carries the visuals as the main wall. The near-square ratio composes in many ways: a single large image and content split into several zones both work well on it. The refresh rate above 6000 Hz and the high contrast give a faultless image through a camera too. The cabinet structure is front-serviceable, and we plan the exact build at a free site survey.

Studio use: what the camera sees is what counts

In a TV studio, the most critical property of a LED video wall is not how it looks to the naked eye but how it looks through the camera. A refresh rate above 6000 Hz eliminates banding and flicker, even in slow motion, and the P2 pixel density means the camera can come within 2 metres of the surface without the pixel grid showing. 16.7 million colours and contrast above 5000:1 give deep blacks and true-to-life gradients, which means broadcast-grade quality in a news studio, a sports programme and a talk show backdrop alike. The brightness can be calibrated to the studio lighting so that the wall does not blow out on the camera's exposure.

In a sports hall: scoreboard, advertising, atmosphere

The 14.4 m² surface is clearly visible from the stand, so in a sports hall it works as a scoreboard, a statistics display and a sponsor surface alike – even simultaneously, because the control software divides the surface into several independent zones. Brightness above 600 cd/m² gives a high-contrast image even under strong hall lighting, and the robust cabinets stand up to the demands of well-attended events. During a match, the content can be switched instantly over Wi-Fi or LAN: live scores, replays, an advertising break, fan content. Selling the sponsor surface is one of the fastest routes to payback – in an active hall the investment can come back within a few seasons.

Quality you can count on mid-broadcast

On a live broadcast or at a sell-out match there is no room for the wall to let you down. That is why we build exclusively from quality LED chips and bin-matched modules: the colour of the surface is uniform, and the panels do not differ from one another on camera either. The cabinets are individually front-serviceable – a module swap is a matter of minutes, even between two acts or two quarters. Spare parts come from regional stock and support is by phone: if any question arises you can reach us immediately, rather than a manufacturer a time zone away. The 100,000-hour lifespan means 10+ years even with intensive use for several hours a day.

Consumption, power feed, control

Peak consumption is 439 W/m², which for the whole wall is about 6.3 kW – this has to be taken into account in the electrical design, and we agree it at the survey. With real content, however, the average stays below 147 W/m², so in use the wall draws roughly 2.1 kW: the electricity cost of an eight-hour broadcast day or match day comes to a few euros. Control runs over the network from a central desk or even a tablet, with scheduling and zone management. We teach the controls at handover – the daily routine needs no broadcast engineer; if you can write an email, you can handle this.

Installation and extendability

Because the cabinets arrive pre-built and calibrated, the work on site is quick: the support structure, joining the cabinets, cabling and commissioning typically take 2–3 days for a wall this size. In a studio the wall can also be integrated into bespoke scenery supports, and in a hall we work to the existing steelwork – we clear up the structural questions at the free site survey. An indoor display needs no official consent. The quote is itemised (modules, control, support structure, installation), and if a larger surface is needed later, the wall can be extended with bin-matched cabinets of the same pixel pitch, subject to checking the controller's capacity.

Is this wall suitable for camera relay without flicker?

Yes. Because of the refresh rate above 6000 Hz, neither banding nor flicker appears on a live broadcast or a studio recording, not even in a close shot or on a slow-motion replay.
