Widescreen format: for churches, theatres and long rooms

The 4.5 metre width was made for content that calls for a wide composition: projecting hymn text and scripture verses while the live camera feed stays on screen; theatre backdrop and captions at once; a panoramic view at an event. At a P2 pixel pitch the image is already continuous from 2 metres, so those in the front pew or the front row of seats also see sharp text – which is decisive for text projection. The 11.7 m² surface is clearly legible from the back of the room, and the 2.6 metre height fits comfortably above or behind the stage or the altar area in most spaces with a long floor plan.

Technical parameters for specialists

The resolution is 1300×2250 px at a pixel density of 500 px/m – in a two-zone layout (a live image plus a text band, for example) both zones run at native sharpness. Brightness above 600 cd/m² gives a readable image even in a bright church interior with windows, and it can be turned down low for a darkened theatre space so as not to dazzle. Because of the refresh rate above 6000 Hz, live relay and recording of a service or a performance are also free of banding. Contrast above 5000:1 gives deep blacks in a dark auditorium – with the content off, the wall effectively disappears. The power feed is 220 V and peak consumption is 439 W/m² (about 5 kW for the whole wall); we check the electrical sizing at the survey.

Quiet, reliable operation – for decades

In a liturgical or theatrical space, technology is good when it is imperceptible: this wall has passive, quiet cooling and makes no intrusive noise in operation. Its reliability comes from the quality built into it: named, quality LED chips and bin-matched modules – so the surface does not go patchy and the colours stay uniform years later. If a module does fail, it can be replaced from the front in minutes, even between two events; parts are available from regional stock, with no waiting months for a shipment from abroad. Handling during an event: simple and automatable

Control is over Wi-Fi or LAN, and the content can be switched from a technical desk, a laptop or even a tablet – the output of lyric projection software can be sent straight to the wall. Thanks to the pre-built cabinets, installation typically takes 1–2 days.
