In short

The 2.6 × 3.2 metre, 8.3 m² P2 LED video wall gives 1300×1600 px at a pixel density of 500 px/m, so the image is pixel-free from 2 metres. Brightness above 600 cd/m² and contrast beyond 5000:1 give a vivid image even in a bright room, while a refresh rate above 6000 Hz keeps camera recordings free of banding. Average consumption stays below 147 W/m², which at 10 hours of daily operation means an electricity cost of roughly €65–75 a month. We recommend it for meeting rooms, training rooms and smaller lecture theatres, where viewers may come closer than 2 metres to the surface. The 100,000-hour lifespan means more than 25 years of operation at 10 hours of use a day.

Indoor LED video wall P2 – 2.6 × 3.2 m (8.3 m²)

The 260×320 cm P2 LED video wall is the answer for smaller but demanding spaces: for a meeting room, a training room, a reception or a smaller event room, where viewers may come as close as 2 metres to the surface. Because of the dense 500 px/m pixel layout, text and fine graphics read crystal-clear and the image is cinematically continuous. The surface is made up seamlessly from 320×160 mm modules with no cutting and no bespoke manufacture, which means a shorter lead time. The cabinet structure is front-serviceable and replacing a module takes minutes. Control is available remotely over Wi-Fi or LAN, with scheduling and effects.

Who do we recommend this size for?

The 8.3 m² surface is for places where the audience area is small but the requirement is maximal: a meeting room, a training room, a showroom or a reception area. At a P2 pixel pitch the pixels merge from 2 metres, and by the 1 mm ≈ 2.5–3 m rule of thumb the comfortable viewing distance works out at 5 metres – so in this size range even those in the front row see a perfect image. Because the 260×320 cm surface can be made up exactly and seamlessly from the 320×160 mm module size, no bespoke cut elements are needed: that means a shorter production time and a more predictable project. If you are unsure about the size, we refine it at the free site survey on the basis of the seating layout and viewing distance.

Image quality in figures – for specialists

The resolution is 1300×1600 px, which means a pixel density of 500 px/m – presentation slides, spreadsheets and live video can all be shown without interpolation blur. Brightness above 600 cd/m² is more than enough indoors, yet it does not dazzle those sitting close, and it can be regulated to the time of day. A refresh rate above 6000 Hz is in the safe band for camera capture: no banding appears on a live broadcast or a video recording. Contrast above 5000:1 and 16.7 million colours give deep blacks and vivid gradients. The power feed can be handled from a standard 220 V supply, and peak consumption is 439 W/m², which we take into account in the design.

Why this is not cheap, throwaway hardware

The typical fate of the cheapest walls doing the rounds: modules from mixed production runs, a patchy surface after six months, and no parts and no service. We rule that out on three levels. First: we fit quality LED chips and bin-matched modules, so the colour stays uniform across the whole surface. Second: because of the cabinet build, any module can be replaced from the front in minutes – a pixel fault is not a death sentence but a routine repair. Third: the service backing is our own, with parts available from regional stock and phone support. The 100,000-hour lifespan is therefore not a promise but a maintainable reality.

Operation: consumption and control

Peak consumption is 439 W/m², but only an all-white image comes close to that – with real content the average stays below 147 W/m², which across 8.3 m² is about 1.2 kW. At 10 hours of daily operation that is roughly 12 kWh, or an electricity cost in the order of €65–75 a month – less than a single day's advertising in a local newspaper. Control is over Wi-Fi or LAN, even from a phone: changing content, scheduled switching on and off, and brightness control are a few taps away. If you can write an email, you can handle this – and we teach it in person at handover, with support available afterwards.

Installation and extendability

The cabinets arrive pre-built and calibrated, so the work on site is limited to fixing the support structure, joining the cabinets and commissioning – a wall this size can typically be handed over in 1–2 days. An indoor display needs no official consent. The quote is itemised: modules, control, support structure and installation on separate lines, with no hidden costs. If a larger surface is needed later, the wall can be extended with cabinets of the same pixel pitch – it is worth flagging that at the survey so that the support structure and the controller are sized with reserve from the outset. The site survey is free.

Indoor LED video wall P2 – 2.6 × 3.2 m (8.3 m²) — frequently asked questions

From what distance is this LED video wall comfortable to watch?

Because of the P2 pixel pitch the image is continuous and pixel-free from 1.5–2 metres, and the comfortable viewing distance starts at 5 metres – making it a perfect choice for smaller, enclosed spaces too.

Can it be filmed with a camera without flicker?

Yes, the refresh rate above 6000 Hz guarantees that neither banding nor flicker appears on a live broadcast or a video recording.

How much does this wall consume in practice?

Peak consumption is 439 W/m², but with real content the average stays below 147 W/m², which across the 8.3 m² surface is about 1.2 kW – at 10 hours of daily operation an electricity cost in the order of €65–75 a month.

Who installs it, and how long does it take?

Our own installation team carries out the work: because of the pre-built cabinet system, a wall this size can typically be handed over in 1–2 days, training included. We give the precise schedule after the free site survey.

How long will it last, and what if it fails?

The 100,000-hour lifespan is more than 25 years at 10 hours of use a day. If a fault occurs, the affected module can be replaced from the front in minutes and we supply a bin-matched part from regional stock; the warranty period is set out in the quote and can be extended with the Warranty+ package.

Can it be extended to a larger surface later?

Yes. Because of the modular cabinet build it can be extended afterwards with elements of the same pixel pitch – it is worth flagging any intention to extend at the survey so that we size the support structure and the controller with reserve from the outset.
