The C170A is the size a dinner event is built from. The 75 cm height is standard dining height, so any of your normal chairs will go with it, and the Ø100 cm top takes four or five place settings. What makes an illuminated round table for events usable and not merely spectacular is that it works without a cable: you put it where the flow of guests makes sense, not where the socket happens to be.

How many guests a Ø100 cm table seats
The circumference is 314 cm. If you reckon 60 cm of elbow room per person — the figure at which a guest does not knock into a neighbour — then five chairs fit around it. With four guests it is generous; six is already tight. For a dinner for 60, plan on 12–15 tables. The round shape is popular at weddings and corporate dinners because there is no head of the table and everyone can see everyone else. If the top itself lights up, no separate table light is needed above the setting, which means fewer candles, fewer fire-safety questions and fewer hired props.
What an operator can do with it over one evening
The 5200 mAh battery gives 6–8 hours of light, depending on the colour. A reception at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm and a close around midnight all fit into one charge. The seven colours switch from the remote control, so the light can be warm and calm during dinner and different during the party — the mood of the room does not have to be reset by a stylist. Since no cable runs to it, cleaning and rearranging are faster too. If a dance floor has to be opened up after dinner, you simply carry the table out — there is nothing to unplug and nothing to reconnect.
Carrying and storage: 15 kg, Ø100 cm
15 kg is still manageable for one person, but this is not a one-handed piece: held at both sides it can be carried alone over a short distance, while over a longer route or on stairs two people are realistic. Reckon on a two-person set-up crew carrying one table in per trip. For storage the Ø100 cm top is the bottleneck: in a load space 3 metres long and 1.7 metres wide, three tables stand side by side in one row if you do not tilt them. So this is the piece that in an events fleet is better installed at a permanent venue than shuttled around daily.
Terrace, garden, a rainy day
The body is polyethylene, IP54 water-resistant and UV-resistant, so summer sun will not fade it and an evening shower will not put it out of action. On a restaurant terrace that means you do not have to bring everything in at every cloudburst, only rescue the textiles. Cleaning is with a damp cloth, and the surface does not absorb wine or grease. At a dinner venue that means several quick wipe-downs a day rather than a weekly deep clean. It also withstands temperature extremes, so it can stay outside in summer heat and on a cool autumn evening alike.
What to pair it with
With a dining-height chair: in the range that means the 80 cm overall-height dining chair and the 72–75 cm overall-height illuminated chairs. If you mix illuminated and plain chairs, the illuminated table provides the light on its own and the chairs can be the venue's existing ones. If dinner and a standing reception alternate on the same evening, mix in 110 cm cocktail tables as well: the Ø100 dining tables stay in the seated zone, the tall ones go to the bar. That way you do not have to change tables halfway through.

What height of chair can be used with it?
The 75 cm table height is standard dining height, so the usual dining chairs of 72–80 cm overall height go with it. A bar stool does not belong beside it.
Can it stay out on the terrace?
With its IP54 rating, UV-resistant polyethylene body and tolerance of temperature extremes it is made for outdoor use. An evening shower and sunshine will not harm it.
Can one person move it?
Over a short distance yes, it weighs 15 kg. On stairs or over a longer route plan for two people, because the Ø100 cm top makes it more awkward to grip than the weight suggests.
Does it need a table light?
Not necessarily. The top itself lights up, in seven colours set by remote control. That means fewer candles and fewer hired decorative items on the setting.
