This set is a complete guest table for four: the round table, Ø100 cm and 75 cm high, comes with four dining chairs with backrest of 80 cm overall height. The pairing comes down to height - a dining chair with a dining table, not a bar stool - and here you do not have to work that out yourself. The four chairs fit comfortably around the 314 cm circumference, 78 cm per person, which means there is room for elbows as well as plates. All five pieces are lit by battery, they can be set to the same colour with one remote control, and not a single cable runs under the guests' feet.

Four guests at a Ø100 table: why not five
The circumference of the Ø100 cm top is 314 cm, and the table's own description allows five chairs around it at 60 cm per person. Four went into the set nonetheless, because at a dinner the place setting takes the room: plate, two glasses, bread plate, cutlery. With four people each guest gets 78 cm, which is comfortable rather than cramped, and beside a glowing top there is no need to leave space for a candle either. If five people do end up at one table, you can ask for the fifth chair as a separate item - the circumference will take it. At a wedding seating plan that is a useful reserve: a guest arriving without a partner does not end up at a table of strangers just because a set for four is full.
How much space a complete table needs
If you push the chairs up to the edge of the top, the overall footprint of the set is 100 + 2 x 56 = 212 cm, that is roughly 2.1 x 2.1 metres, 4.5 m2 - calculated with the larger, 56 cm dimension of the chair. During dinner the chairs move further out, and the waiter has to fit behind them, so when planning reckon on a 3 x 3 metre square per table. Six such tables therefore fit onto a 60 m2 terrace, with 24 guests, while the service route stays clear. The square grid also makes the seating plan simple: every table is one cell, and the guest list divides onto it in fours.
Running one evening on five batteries
Five batteries work in the set: one 5200 mAh cell in the table and one 2600 mAh cell in each of the four chairs, 15,600 mAh in total. The manufacturer states the same 6-8 hours for every piece depending on the colour, so you do not have to calculate separately for the smaller chair battery. In practice that means one charge is enough from a 6 pm reception to the midnight cake, even if the dinner runs long. Among the seven colours you can pick a calmer one for the dinner and a livelier one for the dancing, and the remote control switches the table and the four chairs together - there is no need to touch them one by one.
Setting up, breaking down and storage between two events
The five pieces come to 47 kg together: the table 15 kg and the four chairs 4 x 8 = 32 kg. Two people, two trips - in the first you carry the table together, in the second you each take two chairs. On your own it is three trips, but do not carry the Ø100 cm top up stairs alone. Between two events it is enough to wipe the polyethylene surface with a damp cloth, with no tablecloth needed. In a garden or on a terrace the set can stay outside: the body is IP54 protected, UV-resistant and impact-resistant, and a summer shower will not finish it off. What does make work at such times is charging: five pieces have to go on a socket, so schedule that for the day before the event.

Why does it come with four chairs if five fit around the table?
Because at dinner the place setting takes the room. Around the 314 cm circumference four people get 78 cm each, five only 63 cm. If five of you do sit down, you can ask for a fifth chair as a separate item; the set itself stays a set for four.
Does the chair height match the table?
Yes. The 75 cm high dining table goes with the dining chair with backrest of 80 cm overall height; we do not supply bar stools for this table. The same chair also suits the other 73-76 cm high tables in the range, so it can be moved between rooms.
How many batteries have to be charged before an evening?
Five: one in the table and one in each of the four chairs. That is 15,600 mAh in total, and the manufacturer states 6-8 hours of lighting for every piece depending on the colour, so one charge covers an evening dinner.
How much room does it take on a terrace?
With the chairs pushed to the edge of the top, about 2.1 x 2.1 metres, that is 4.5 m2. With the chairs pulled out and a service passage, it is worth planning a 3 x 3 metre square per table, so six tables fit onto a 60 m2 terrace.
