In this set the ice bucket sits in the body of the table: the bottle chills where the guest is sitting, and the top stays free for the glasses. The 70 x 65 cm table, 106 cm high, comes with two bar stools with backrest, 104 cm in overall height, so this is not a place to pass through but the private table of a couple or two business partners for an evening. Even with ice and meltwater there is no cable, because all three pieces run on battery.

The ice bucket as a function, not a decoration
At a champagne reception, chilling is the weak point of the logistics: you need a bucket, you need a stand, and under the bucket a towel that is soaking wet by ten in the evening. Here the ice is part of the furniture, the guest table and the cooler being one piece. In a VIP corner that means the waiter brings the bottle out once and after that only glances at it. At a wine tasting the white wine and the champagne wait their turn chilled, with the red standing beside them on the top. The operating rule is simple: always move the table empty, fill the ice bucket on site, and after closing empty it and wipe it out.
Two stools on the two sides of the table
The 106 cm high table goes with the bar stool with backrest of 104 cm overall height - we always pair bar stools with tables of 106-110 cm. The two stools go on two opposite sides of the table, so the other two sides stay free and the waiter can reach the bottle without leaning over the guests. In that arrangement the set is 70 + 2 x 56 = 182 cm long and 65 cm deep, and with the stools pulled out about 1.8 x 1 metres. Two such sets therefore fit into a 3 x 3 metre VIP corner one behind the other, with a metre of passage between them. If the corner is tighter, one set also works pushed against the wall: one of the sides without a stool sits against the wall and the other stays for the waiter.
A champagne reception: from arrival to the toast
The typical run of it: when the guests arrive the bottle is already in the ice bucket and the prepared glasses are on the top. For the first half hour the table is a drinks point, with the hosts or the guests of honour on the two bar stools, and the others coming over to them to clink glasses. After the toast the table carries on as a VIP spot, and you set its colour with the remote control to suit the mood after the speech. Because of the 106 cm height the waiter does not bend down for the bottle, and a standing guest can comfortably take a glass beside the two seated ones. One table is thus a service point and a seat at the same time, with no separate counter or cool box.
Weight, battery, closing down
Empty, the three pieces weigh 32.5 kg: the table 16.5 kg and the two bar stools 2 x 8 kg. Two people, one trip - one carries the table, the other the two stools. With ice and bottles the table is far heavier, so do not move it loaded. There are three batteries in the set, 5200 mAh in the table and 2600 mAh in each stool, 10,400 mAh in total. IP54 protection is not a theoretical question here: meltwater and splashing iced water do the body no harm, and there is no cable in the guest area. At closing time it is enough to wipe the top and the stools with a damp cloth.

How should I move the table with the ice bucket?
Always empty: like that it weighs 16.5 kg and the whole set 32.5 kg. Put the ice and the bottles in on site, and do not move it loaded, because the table becomes far heavier.
Why does it come with bar stools with a backrest?
Because this set is for seated guests: in a VIP corner or at a wine tasting the two guests spend an evening at the table. The bar stool of 104 cm overall height suits the 106 cm high table, and the backrest makes long sitting comfortable.
Is the ice not a hazard next to the lighting?
The furniture runs on battery, there is no mains cable anywhere near it, and the body is IP54 protected, so it copes with splashing meltwater. At closing time empty the ice bucket so that no water stands in it until the next event.
