The W00's greatest strength is its small size: it can be fitted into sign housings where conventional, larger control cards would not sit comfortably. Even so, you do not have to give up the convenience of wireless content management, since the card receives new content from the phone app over Wi-Fi. That combination is especially practical for smaller single-colour or seven-colour scrolling signs, where space is limited but convenient, frequent content refreshing matters. In seven-colour mode the card cycles the colour of the lettering or graphics, which makes the display more eye-catching in smaller shop windows and entrances, where viewers typically read the text from 1–3 metres away.
Uploading and everyday use
In the phone app you can easily assemble the text to be shown, choose the colour or the seven-colour cycling, set the speed and the effect, and then send it to the card over the Wi-Fi connection. Once uploaded, the controller plays the stored content on its own and continuously, independently of the network connection, so there is no need for a phone or computer to stay switched on. Not a cheap gamble but a dependable entry level
Even our smallest card is no compromise on quality: the LED elements that go with the W00 are shipped through the same quality-control process as their larger siblings, with bin-matched chips so colour reproduction stays uniform. If a replacement is nevertheless needed, we supply the part from regional stock with service backing behind it, so what you get is not a cheap, import-dependent product that soon needs replacing. Running it: consumption and ease of handling
