In short

The 2.6 × 3.85 metre, 10 m² P2.5 LED video wall is the more sensibly priced version of the most sought-after event room size: 1040×1540 px (400 px/m), brightness above 600 cd/m² and refresh above 6000 Hz. The image is continuous from 2.5 metres – which in an event room seating layout covers practically every seat. Brightness, contrast (above 5000:1) and colour depth (16.7 million colours) match the P2 build; the difference is purely in pixel density. In real use the wall consumes about 1.5 kW on average. The 100,000-hour lifespan is enough for decades even with several events a week.

Indoor LED video wall P2.5 – 2.6 × 3.85 m (10 m²)

The 260×385 cm P2.5 wall has the same proven proportions as the most popular 10 m² P2 size, but with a sparser pixel layout – it is worth it wherever the audience sits at least 2.5–3 metres from the surface. In an event room, a conference room or a church that distance is natural, so P2.5 involves no visible compromise while the investment is noticeably better. The component quality, the bin-matched modules and the service backing are the same as on the premium build. The cabinets are front-serviceable and the surface can be extended later. At the free site survey we check against the seating layout whether P2.5 really is the optimal choice.

The most sought-after size, chosen with engineering sense

The 10 m² surface is popular because it fits almost any medium-sized room: large enough for visual presence without overwhelming the space. The P2.5 version is the right decision where the viewing distance is at least 2.5–3 metres – by the 1 mm ≈ 2.5–3 m rule of thumb the image is continuous from there, and distinctly comfortable from 6–7 metres. In an event room or a church seating layout, even the front row is typically further away than that, so the extra cost of a denser pixel pitch would show up in the picture for nobody. The common mistake is buying an unnecessarily fine pixel pitch – we would rather work through with you at the survey what is genuinely needed.

The same image quality foundation, a different pixel density

The resolution is 1040×1540 px at a density of 400 px/m – presentations, corporate films and live camera feeds all run sharply on it from the typical viewing distance. Every other parameter matches the P2 build: brightness above 600 cd/m², contrast above 5000:1, 16.7 million colours, refresh above 6000 Hz – so camera recording and live relay are free of banding too. The power feed is a standard 220 V supply and peak consumption is 439 W/m², about 4.4 kW for the whole wall, which we take into account in the electrical design. The decision is therefore not a question of quality but of geometry: the viewing distance decides, not the wallet.

Reliability: the same standard as the premium build

A better price often raises suspicion – rightly, because walls thrown together from mixed production runs with no service really do circulate in the market. With us, P2.5 is made on the same quality line as P2: named LED chips, bin-matched modules, factory calibration. The only difference is the number of chips per square metre. The cabinets are front-serviceable, a module swap takes minutes, parts come from regional stock and support is by phone. The 100,000-hour lifespan means decades even with several events a week – the wall stands a good chance of outlasting the building's current function.

Operation from event to event

With real content the average consumption stays below 147 W/m², so the whole wall draws about 1.5 kW in use – the electricity for an eight to ten hour event day is 12–15 kWh, a few euros. Control is over Wi-Fi or LAN, from a tablet or a phone: changing content, scheduled switching on and off and transition effects take a few taps. Running the event needs no technician – if you can write an email, you can handle this. We train the staff at handover (included in the price), and phone support is available afterwards.

Installation, extension, purchase arrangements

Because the cabinets arrive pre-built and calibrated, on-site installation including the support structure and commissioning typically takes 1–2 days; an indoor wall needs no official consent. The quote is itemised: modules, control, support structure, installation – with no hidden costs. The surface can be extended later with bin-matched cabinets of the same pixel pitch if the room or the requirement grows. Acquisition can be arranged in several ways – purchase, project-based delivery, or hire for a trial – and we set out the details after the free site survey, in a quote tailored to your requirements.

Indoor LED video wall P2.5 – 2.6 × 3.85 m (10 m²) — frequently asked questions

Why is this wall cheaper than a P2 of the same size?

P2.5 contains fewer LED chips per square metre (400 px/m against the P2's 500 px/m), and that is what gives the better price – the component quality, the chips and the service backing are the same as on the P2 build.

What type of room does this size suit?

Medium and larger event rooms, conference rooms, churches and wedding venues, where the audience sits at least 2.5–3 metres from the wall – seen from there, the image is continuous and pixel-free.

Is this size available for hire, or only for purchase?

Several arrangements are possible: purchase, project-based delivery, and hire for a trial – we set out the exact options after the free site survey, in a bespoke quote.

What does it cost to run over an event day?

With real content the average consumption stays below 147 W/m², about 1.5 kW for the whole wall – over an 8–10 hour event day that is 12–15 kWh, an electricity cost of a few euros.

How long will it last, and what if it fails?

The 100,000-hour lifespan means decades even with several events a week. A faulty module can be replaced from the front in minutes with a bin-matched part supplied from regional stock; the warranty is set out in the quote and can be extended with the Warranty+ package.

Can the surface be extended later?

Yes. Because of the modular cabinet build it can be enlarged afterwards with modules of the same pixel pitch – it is worth flagging the intention at the survey so that the support structure and the controller are built with reserve.
