LED wall rental for Ljubljana. Ljubljana concentrates its business events in a small number of well-known addresses: Cankarjev dom for congresses, the Gospodarsko razstavišče halls for trade fairs, Stožice for the largest indoor productions, and a dense ring of hotel meeting rooms around the centre for everything between thirty and two hundred people. The city is compact enough that most venues are a short drive from one another, and the pedestrianised core around Prešeren Square means loading is a matter of permits and timing rather than distance. Slovenia is also the country where a great many Hungarian and Austrian companies hold their regional meetings, which is the part of the calendar that concerns us most directly. Győr lies 408 road kilometres away, roughly four and a half hours through Slovenian and Hungarian motorway, and the whole route is inside Schengen and inside the eurozone. Neither a border queue nor a currency conversion enters the planning.

The cases where the distance stops mattering
There is a straightforward test. If the event is a single evening with one small screen in central Ljubljana, a Slovenian supplier will be cheaper, because our travel line has to cross 816 kilometres before the first panel is switched on. The picture inverts in four situations. When the booking runs several days, the travel divides and the daily cost falls sharply. When a Slovenian company is exhibiting or presenting in Hungary, the same panels arrive with almost no journey at all. When your programme visits both countries, one supplier and one set of equipment saves coordination. And when the venue is close to the Hungarian border, we may simply be the nearest depot with this product on the shelf.
What a Ljubljana booking comes to

The two components are simple. A panel-day costs 75 EUR net on the indoor P2, the build we hold in stock and price openly; the other four are agreed individually, because what they cost us differs. Travel is 0.50 EUR net per kilometre on the round trip, so Ljubljana at 408 kilometres from Győr means 408 EUR net of travel for a single-day job. Indicatively, and net of VAT: one panel for a day 483 EUR, three panels 633 EUR, five panels 783 EUR. Across two days the journey counts twice, since delivery and collection are separate runs, so three panels come to 1,266 EUR and five to 1,566 EUR. Three panels over three days are 1,491 EUR, at which point travel is a modest part of the bill. Add 63 EUR net per day for an operator if you want one on site.

A single unit is 64 centimetres wide, 192 high, and shows 320 by 960 pixels at a 2 millimetre pixel pitch in the indoor P2 version. The same format comes finer as the P1.5 GOB, for a counter or a small stand where the surface is read from half a metre, and coarser as the P2.5, which is the economical answer when the nearest viewer is several metres away. Where there is no roof — a courtyard, a square, a summer stage — the cabinet-built outdoor versions take over, a P2.5 poster or a P3 wall. Indoors the panel stands unaided, runs from a normal socket and needs no rigging of any kind. Two people move it, and it goes through a lift and a standard doorway, which is what makes it viable in Cankarjev dom or a hotel meeting room where nothing may be attached to the structure. What we deliver is the finished state: panels and feet, player, controller, the build, the picture setup, the handover and the derig. The one thing we ask of the venue is a socket within reach and a place to park while unloading.

Content, connections and the short handover
Content goes on as JPG, PNG or MP4, either from a USB stick or from a phone through the controller app. For a live presentation a laptop plugs into the controller over HDMI, so slides or a camera feed run straight onto the surface. The resolution follows the set you have chosen, from 320 by 960 pixels on one panel up to 1600 by 960 on five. The handover takes about five minutes and is not charged. After it your own team changes content between sessions without waiting for anybody. We stay on the phone for the duration of the hire, which for a congress running several parallel tracks is usually all the support that is actually needed.
