The screen itself is 75 EUR net for every panel on every day, at the list rate of the indoor P2 we stock — take the P1.5, the P2.5 or a sealed outdoor cabinet and that figure alone is replaced by one agreed for your event. So, as net guides: 496 EUR covers one panel for a day, 571 EUR two, 646 EUR the square trio and 796 EUR all five. Run the trio across two days and it becomes 1,292 EUR, five panels 1,592 EUR, since the van then travels out and home on two occasions instead of one. One of our technicians beside the screen is 63 EUR net per head per day.

One unit measures 64 centimetres across and 192 high, showing 320 by 960 pixels at a 2 millimetre pitch. It supports itself, so nothing is flown, hung or counterweighted, and it draws power from an ordinary wall socket. Two people carry a panel through a standard door or into a lift. In a sports hall, an industrial heritage building or a company meeting room that is what makes a screen practical without a technical crew. Off the van come the panels, their feet, the player and the controller; we build the set, set the picture, brief your staff and return at the end to remove everything.
When a Slovenian firm is the better answer
Five hours of driving, stated plainly
A single panel for one Jesenice day totals 496 EUR net, of which 421 EUR is the road. Ljubljana is under an hour away and has a competitive rental market, so on that job they will beat us and there is no sense pretending otherwise. The balance turns on three things: a hire running several days, which divides the two journeys; a large set, where the panel rate takes most of the total; and an event held in Hungary by a company based here, which happens often enough along this corridor to be worth mentioning rather than treating as an exception.

Two constructions in an alpine climate
The indoor part of the fleet gets its close-range picture from a fine pitch and pays for it with a housing that has no weather sealing, so those panels stay under a roof: a sports hall, a cultural centre, a marquee, a covered stage. At this altitude the distinction is worth stating clearly, because mountain weather changes faster than a forecast. An open position in the valley is not a place for an indoor panel — it is a place for one of the sealed outdoor cabinets, P2.5 or P3, which are made to stand in rain and sun and are hired out like the rest of the range. Cold itself is not the problem for either construction, but bringing equipment from a warm van into freezing air is, so we power up in stages when the temperature demands it.
