LED wall hire for Vrhnika and the marsh edge. What we rent is an LED poster panel of 64 by 192 centimetres and 320 by 960 pixels, portrait, standing on its own feet, with up to five joining sideways into one face. Three versions are indoor and differ only in pitch; two are cabinet-built and sealed, which on damp marsh ground is a distinction worth making. Panel hire is 75 EUR net per panel per day on the indoor P2 we stock, plus the real return distance from Győr, and the others are quoted for the event. The build, picture setup, a free briefing and the collection are covered by that.

Slovenia 433 km from our plant in Győr

Vrhnika lies at the south-western edge of the Ljubljana Marshes, on ground the Romans used as the inland port of Nauportus and where barges once began the journey towards the Adriatic. It is best known today as the birthplace of Ivan Cankar, which gives the town a literary and commemorative calendar, and as the neighbour of the technical museum at Bistra, whose collections draw school and specialist visits throughout the year. The working economy is light manufacturing and services along the motorway corridor towards Ljubljana. Events divide between municipal and cultural occasions in the town hall and library spaces, and company gatherings held on their own premises. Neither category comes with technical staff or rigging provision. Vrhnika is 433 road kilometres from our depot in Győr, roughly five hours of motorway driving, with no border stop and no currency conversion on the way.

What the equipment is

Free-standing, fine pitch, one socket

Two millimetres separate the pixels, 320 of them across and 960 down, over a face 64 centimetres wide and 192 tall. Weight sits entirely on the feet, so walls and ceilings are untouched, and the whole set feeds from a single domestic socket. A pair of people is enough to lift and place one, doorways and passenger lifts included. Library exhibition rooms and municipal halls therefore need no survey, no fixing permission and no structural opinion. Everything required arrives with us: panels, feet, player, controller and leads. We raise the set, wire it, tune the picture and put the controls in your hands.

One family stays under a roof, the other does not

Marsh weather and two kinds of housing

The indoor panels buy their close-range picture with a housing that has no weather sealing, so for them a roof is a requirement rather than a preference. Halls, foyers and meeting rooms present no difficulty at all, and a marquee or a covered stage is the outer limit of what we would agree to. On the edge of the marshes that matters, because damp air and sudden rain are ordinary here. It is also why the fleet has a second half: the outdoor versions are built into sealed cabinets, at P2.5 and P3, and they are meant for a position with nothing above it — a commemorative gathering in a park, a summer stage, a sports fixture on open ground. Those are hired like everything else, with the price fixed for the particular event rather than taken from the list.

Vrhnika prices

866 kilometres of return driving

The vehicle covers 866 kilometres to reach you and return, charged at fifty cents net each, which is 433 EUR net on a booking of one day. Beyond that the screen costs 75 EUR net per panel per day at the indoor P2 list rate, and a booking on any other build swaps that one line for an agreed figure. As guides, net of tax: 508 EUR for a solitary panel over a day, 583 EUR for two, 658 EUR for the square trio and 808 EUR for the full five. Run the trio across two days and it becomes 1,316 EUR; five panels the same way reach 1,616 EUR, since a second day requires the van out and back twice. Our own operator, if wanted, is 63 EUR net a day.

One panel by itself

For a commemorative event or a small exhibition

The smallest order is a single panel, and for much of what happens in Vrhnika it is the appropriate one. Standing 192 centimetres tall and 64 wide, it occupies the ground of a printed board while showing a sequence of images, a text, or a short film on a loop. At a literary commemoration or a museum evening it does that quietly, with no visible structure and nothing attached to the building. One person runs it after the handover. Here a lone panel for a day comes to roughly 508 EUR net including the drive, and a pair to 583 EUR net.
