Škofja Loka is generally described as the best-preserved medieval town in Slovenia, and that description has practical consequences for anyone bringing equipment into it. The centre is a protected ensemble of narrow streets below the castle, where vehicle access is restricted and fixing anything to a building is out of the question. The town's cultural signature is the Passion Play, staged through the streets at intervals and inscribed on the UNESCO intangible heritage list, and around it sits a year of smaller events in the castle, the cultural centre and the halls of the Poljane and Selca valleys. Four give 256 centimetres in the 4:3 shape that slide decks assume. Five arrive at 320 centimetres and 1600 by 960 pixels. Medieval interiors here are narrow and often low, so the single portrait panel is frequently the only thing that physically works, and it happens to look intentional against stone. A valley hall used for a company evening takes three without trouble. Five want depth that the old town rarely offers.

Driving is 429 EUR net on a one-day hire, being the full return route at half a euro net per kilometre. Every panel adds 75 EUR net for every day where the panel is the stocked indoor P2; the other four builds have their own panel figure, written into the offer, and the driving terms stay as stated. Indicative net totals: one panel for a day 504 EUR, two 579 EUR, three 654 EUR, five 804 EUR. Across two days three panels come to 1,308 EUR and five to 1,608 EUR, since delivery and collection then require separate runs. What cover means for a street-based programme
The indoor versions are what most Škofja Loka bookings use. Their close pitch is what makes the picture hold together when someone stands right beside it, and the cost of that construction is that it carries no weather sealing, so halls, castle interiors, marquees and roofed stages are its territory. For a town whose signature event moves through the streets, that alone would be a hard limit. It is not the whole fleet, though. The outdoor versions are built into sealed cabinets, at P2.5 for close viewing and P3 for a larger surface seen from a distance, and they hire out on the same terms as the rest — the difference is that their price is set for the event instead of read from a list. So a Passion Play route or a market square position is a matter of specifying the outdoor build early, not of doing without a screen.
