Who this size is for, and what space it suits
The 160×40 cm dual-colour message sign is made primarily for tall, spacious rooms: sports halls, industrial halls, larger waiting areas or the atrium of an educational institution. The 40 cm height allows a character height of 30–35 cm, comfortably legible from 20–30 metres, so the content is clearly visible from the far end of the room or the back row of the stand. For smaller spaces of 5–10 metres a more compact size is worth choosing, and the site survey lets us say exactly which.
Content scheduling and automation
The scheduler ties the activation of each message profile to a time of day or a calendar date. On a weekday morning the business advertisement can appear, for instance, and at the weekend a different programme, automatically. Profiles change according to the schedule, with no human intervention.

How many lines of text can be shown on the 160×40 cm LED message sign?
Two lines, at a character height of around 18–20 cm per line. In single-line mode characters of 35–38 cm can be shown, which read well from 30 metres.
Does the Wi-Fi controller need a local network?
Yes. The Wi-Fi module connects to a 2.4 GHz network and is controlled through the app. A local network without internet is sufficient, as long as the phone and the unit are on the same network.
How long does the LED matrix last, and what keeps the brightness even?
LEDs from a single production batch with a service life of around 100,000 hours still light evenly years later; with sensible management of running hours that means over 10 years of dependable use.
Who installs it, and how long does installation take?
Our own installation team carries out the fitting, which depending on size typically takes half a day to a day; the site survey needed to determine the fixing and the exact size is free of charge.
What is the warranty, and what if a row of LEDs fails?
We provide a full warranty, and we replace the affected module quickly from our regional stock, so the whole message sign does not have to be replaced because of a partial fault.
Is an IT specialist needed for the daily content refresh?
No. Operation is simple enough that if you can write an email, you can handle this confidently too; personal training is part of the handover, so that you can refresh the text independently.
