Why not all whites are the same
White is the most demanding colour where evenness is concerned: if the modules contain LEDs from mixed production batches, the shades of white can pull slightly towards yellow or blue from module to module, causing banding visible from just a few metres. That is why it matters particularly, in white P10 modules, that the LED chips fitted come from the same batch and have the same colour temperature – which we guarantee on every panel, with quality control before assembly. That way you get a uniform, clean white light across the whole width of the board, not a patchy, cobbled-together effect.
Customisation on a larger surface
The board runs from a 220 V supply, and its durable aluminium housing is suitable for the stable outdoor mounting of the larger panel; with the whole display lit its consumption is typically 70–90 W. In the Wi-Fi phone app you can easily enter longer text and set it to run continuously or to alternate in stages between several messages. The scheduling function is available here too, so the board can switch on automatically at opening time and off at closing time, without drawing power needlessly overnight. Learning to use it takes a few minutes, and we demonstrate it in person at handover.
Long-term reliability
The 100,000-hour LED service life and the IP65 rating guarantee that the larger surface also works dependably and with even light over the long term, for as much as 10–15 years of continuous operation. If a module does fail, the repair does not mean replacing the whole board: we replace the faulty element from our regional spare-parts stock, with a swap typically carried out within minutes.
