The portrait 112×160 cm format with a P4 raster is the most cost-effective way of installing a large, highly visible display in a space where the viewing distance is more than 3–4 metres. It is excellent for larger restaurant rooms, spacious showrooms and hall-like retail units. The elongated form takes longer, multi-line text well. It is the best choice when the size of the surface matters more than the finest pixel density, and the 100,000-hour service life is guaranteed here too.
Indoor full-colour LED message sign 112×160 cm (P4)
The 112×160 cm size comes in a portrait, elongated proportion, and with the P4 pixel pitch it offers the most economical answer in this size class. It is recommended above all for more spacious interiors where the audience sees the display from 3–5 metres or more. The brightness, colour reproduction and contrast stay at the same high level as on the finer rasters. This combination is ideal as a first step into digital display communication.

A large surface at a sensible cost
When a retail unit or restaurant is more spacious and guests typically see the display from 3–5 metres or more, there is no point choosing the finest and most expensive pixel raster, since from that distance the eye can no longer tell the difference between a P2 and a P4 raster. The 112×160 cm size in the P4 build is therefore a distinctly sensible choice for larger restaurant rooms, hall-like retail units or spacious car showrooms, where the aim is a highly visible, vivid appearance rather than detail examined from a few centimetres away. With this combination a larger surface can be installed for the same budget than by choosing a finer raster.
What you gain and what you do not lose
Full functionality remains with the P4 raster too: brightness above 600 cd/m², 16.7 million colours, contrast above 5000:1 and control over Wi-Fi from a phone app. The only difference is the physical distance between the pixels, which at a greater viewing distance is not perceptible as a drawback at all. The panel is built from SMD LEDs, so it gives even, undistorted light from every viewing angle. With the timer function the display adjusts automatically to the opening hours, and the 100,000-hour expected service life guarantees dependable long-term operation even at 12–14 hours of use a day.
An entry price with full service
The larger-surface P4 panel gets exactly the same service backing and stock of spare parts as our premium rasters. If a start-up business begins its digital display communication with this combination, it can be confident that long-term running will be just as trouble-free as with the more expensive builds: a module swap in minutes, a warranty on the panel and the power supply, and on-site training at handover so that operation is confident from day one.
From installation to training
For us the process does not end with delivery but with the first successfully uploaded content. On request we begin with a free site survey: we look at the wall surface, the viewing distances and the position of the electrical connection, to make sure the P4 raster really is the right choice for your space. The fitting is a few hours' work, and the panel runs from a standard 220 V supply. At handover we set up the Wi-Fi connection, upload the first advertisement and practise with your colleagues in the phone app until changing the text and setting the timer come confidently. If you get stuck later, our support is also available by phone — you are not left alone with your display.
Typical applications
Indoor full-colour LED message sign 112×160 cm (P4) — frequently asked questions
Why choose P4 instead of the finer rasters?
If the viewing distance is 3–5 metres or more, P4 looks exactly as sharp as the more expensive rasters, so there is no point paying more for the extra fineness.
Is this suitable for larger, hall-like spaces?
Yes. It is expressly recommended for such spaces, where many people see the display at once from a greater distance.
Are the colours as vivid as on the finer rasters?
Yes. The brightness, colour depth and contrast are identical at every pixel pitch; only the dot density differs.
What is the warranty and the service backing on the P4 build?
The same manufacturer's warranty, service backing and stock of spare parts apply here as to the premium P2 panel.
How much does this larger surface consume?
The 1.79 square metre panel draws an average of around 230 W, which at 12 hours of operation a day is about 85 kWh a month — the fineness of the raster does not meaningfully affect consumption.
What makes up the price, and are there hidden costs?
There are none: the quote itemises the panel, the control system, the fixings, the installation and the training. After the free survey every figure is fixed.
