Why this format?
Most retail units have a horizontal band standing unused: the wall above the counter, the narrow surface beside the door, or the top of a run of shelving. The 48×192 cm panel belongs exactly there, being low but long, so it breaks no line of the interior design. The P2.5 pixel pitch means that from 1–2 metres – from the point of view of a customer standing at the till – the text and the logo stay entirely sharp and free of pixellation. Because the panel is built from modules, the length can be extended further as required, so an existing installation can even grow in size later. The narrow form takes up less wall space, yet works with the same brightness and colour depth as its larger relatives.
Content and operation
The panel connects over Wi-Fi to the phone app, from which text, simple animation or even a small logo can be uploaded, all with no editing skills. The timer function lets you set the display to light only during opening hours, saving energy and extending the 100,000-hour service life. Because of the refresh rate above 6,000 Hz, the image does not flicker or band when photographed with a camera or a smartphone, which is useful for social media content too. Brightness of over 600 cd/m² keeps it clearly visible in daylight, next to a window display, while the system can be dimmed if needed so that it is not distractingly strong in the evening. A contrast ratio above 5000:1 means the colours appear with deep blacks and vivid tones at the same time.
A small panel, the same high quality
The size is smaller, the quality standard identical: selected, batch-matched LED chips go into this strip panel too, so the colours are uniform along its whole length and no stretches of a different shade appear years later — something that cannot be guaranteed on anonymous import boards because of their mixed production batches. It uses less than a fridge
With average content, the 0.92 m² surface draws only 140–180 W — at 12 hours of operation a day that is 50–65 kWh a month, roughly €10–13, less than the annualised running cost of an average refrigerator. With the timer function it switches off automatically after closing time, so it really only consumes power while it is working. Control is from the Wi-Fi phone app: you type in the offer, choose the animation, and it is already running along the strip — if you can write an email, you can handle this. We train your colleagues at handover, and you can count on our support at any time.
