P4 is the most cost-effective pixel pitch, which makes this 112×128 cm panel ideal for anyone with a longer viewing distance – say 3–5 metres – or a tighter budget. The image is still vivid and clearly legible; only the raster is somewhat coarser, which cannot be noticed from a greater distance. It is an excellent entry-level answer for shops and restaurants where there are several metres between the wall and the entrance. In value for money it is the most economical member of this size class, while the brightness and the 100,000-hour service life stay at the level familiar from the more expensive rasters.
Indoor full-colour LED message sign 112×128 cm (P4)
The 112×128 cm size comes here with a P4 pixel pitch, which means 62,500 pixels per square metre – the most economical choice in the range. We recommend it where there are at least 3–5 metres between the display and the audience, in larger retail units or restaurant rooms, for example. The brightness, colour depth and contrast are at exactly the same high level as on the finer rasters; only the dot density is lower. This is the best entry-level answer for anyone who wants to run a digital message sign cost-effectively.

When is P4 worth choosing?
There is one rule of thumb for choosing a pixel pitch: the further away the display is viewed, the coarser the raster that will do, because from a greater distance the eye cannot distinguish individual pixels anyway. With P4 that distance is around 3–5 metres, which is typical in a larger retail unit, viewed from the far end of a restaurant, or on a shopfront where the lettering also has to be visible from the other side of the street. In that situation a denser, more expensive P2 or P2.5 raster would add cost for no meaningful improvement in appearance, since the eye could not make use of the extra sharpness. P4 is therefore not a compromise but a deliberate choice matched to the location.
What you do not lose with P4
It is worth emphasising that a coarser pixel pitch does not mean lower brightness, fewer colours or lower contrast – those parameters stay identical at every pixel pitch: brightness above 600 cd/m², 16.7 million colours, contrast above 5000:1. Only the fineness of the raster differs, and that matters only at close viewing. The panel comes with SMD LEDs, Wi-Fi control and a phone app exactly like our finer rasters, so day-to-day operation, refreshing the text and setting the timer are exactly as simple. The 100,000-hour service life and the 220 V mains connection are the same too, so in every practical respect this panel delivers the same user experience, only at a lower entry cost.
Reliability at entry level too
Many people fear that a solution in a lower price bracket must also compromise on quality, but with P4 that is not the case: we build it from the same quality, batch-matched LEDs as the P2 or P2.5 build; only the spatial density of the pixels is lower. The modular construction here too allows release from the front and a quick parts swap, with parts supplied from stock and our own service backing. That means a start-up business can count on exactly the same long-term reliability with the most cost-effective build as with the premium P2.
What does it cost to run?
The economy does not stop at the purchase: with average, mixed content this 1.43 square metre panel draws around 180 W, which at 12 hours of operation a day comes to roughly 65 kWh a month. In money that is a modest monthly item — by way of comparison, reprinting a single banner or poster can cost several times as much, and it would have to be repeated every month, whereas here changing the content is free and takes two minutes. The timer makes sure the display lights only during opening hours, and the moderate indoor brightness spares the electricity bill while extending the 100,000-hour service life.
Typical applications
Indoor full-colour LED message sign 112×128 cm (P4) — frequently asked questions
Is the pixel raster visible up close?
Within a metre or two the dot structure is somewhat more noticeable, but from 3–5 metres it already gives a completely even, sharp image.
Is P4 less bright than P2?
No. The brightness, colour depth and contrast are identical at every pixel pitch; only the dot density differs.
Who do you recommend this version to above all?
To anyone with a longer viewing distance, or anyone who wants to start out in digital display advertising cost-effectively.
What is the warranty and the service backing on this cheaper build?
Exactly the same manufacturer's warranty and service backing apply here as to the P2 or P2.5 build, with parts supplied from stock – there is no compromise on quality.
Who installs it, and how long does it take?
Our installation team fits and commissions it within a few hours; at handover we train you on site, so your colleagues can refresh content independently the same day.
Can it be extended or swapped for something larger later?
The panel is a fixed size, but if the business outgrows it we help with the change: we give an individual quote for trading in the existing display and moving up to a larger — or finer-raster — version.
