In short

The 3.8 × 7 metre (27 m²) P3 outdoor LED video wall is our largest standard size, with a 3 mm pixel pitch, a resolution of roughly 1235×2275 pixels and brightness above 4200 cd/m². Its recommended viewing distance is comfortable from 4–5 metres, and beside a major road or across a large square it is perfectly readable even from 50–100 metres. Average consumption is 262 W/m² and stays below 786 W/m² at peak load; lifespan is 100,000 operating hours, which means 20+ years even at 12 hours of use a day. It is built with IP65 protection and a modular, front-serviceable structure, and installation, site survey and training come from a single source.

Outdoor LED video wall P3 – 3.8 × 7 m (27 m²)

The 3.8 × 7 metre outdoor LED video wall is the largest standard size in our range, recommended for flagship projects where the size of the digital surface is a communication tool in itself. At this scale P3 resolution ensures the image loses none of its sharpness, while the wall's brightness and contrast guarantee perfect visibility in any light, at midday in summer just as at evening dusk. Thanks to the modular cabinet build the wall is front-serviceable, and a failed element can be replaced within minutes without shutting down the whole surface. For bespoke requirements we design and manufacture walls larger still, although this size already covers the needs of most projects. Installation always starts with a free site survey in which we assess the support structure, the power supply and network availability, and commissioning ends with hands-on training.

Characteristics of the largest standard size, and the recommended viewing distance

At 27 square metres the LED video wall represents the top of our range among the standard sizes, and it comes up on projects where the client wants to create not merely an advertising surface but a genuinely iconic visual presence. This size draws attention immediately in any traffic or pedestrian setting, whether beside a major road, on a stadium facade or on the main building of a corporate campus. Because of the 3 mm pixel raster the comfortable viewing distance already starts at 4–5 metres, but because of its size this wall is typically viewed from considerably further – from 50–100 metres, where the resolution is more than enough for the image to look sharp and pixel-free. P3 pixel density preserves image quality at this scale too, so the wall stands out from traditional static advertising media not only in size but in the visual experience it gives.

Quality and reliability – not a bin of mixed import parts

On an investment of this scale it is a fair question: what guarantees that the facade will not end up with a cobbled-together surface of mixed-quality panels. The answer lies in the use of selected, bin-matched LED chips, in in-process quality control and in our own service backing: every module comes from the same production batch, so colour temperature and brightness stay uniform across the whole surface and there will be no mismatched panel sections patching up years later. We hold spare parts in stock, a failed module can be replaced from the front within minutes with a ladder or a cherry picker, and there is no waiting weeks for a resupply from abroad. Behind the 100,000-hour lifespan there is not a marketing figure but the LED chip manufacturer's specification and our own references running over years.

Operation and control – if you can write an email, you can handle this

A wall of this size consumes an average of 262 W per square metre and does not exceed 786 W per square metre even at peak load, which across 27 square metres means an average continuous load of about 7 kW – a plannable, transparent running cost, not a surprise on the bill. Control is over Wi-Fi or LAN from an application with a simple interface: changing content, setting a schedule and regulating brightness are as easy as writing an email, and can be handled without a separate IT specialist. Training on the system is an integral part of the handover, so the client's team manages the surface confidently from day one, and we remain available remotely should any question arise.

Bespoke requirements, consents and the upper size limit

Although this 27 square metre build is our largest standard product, the modular technology is in principle extendable without limit, so for a bespoke project requirement we will design a larger wall. The advantage of a standard size is that the design and manufacturing process is well established, with predictable lead times and costs, whereas a bespoke size means allowing for a longer design phase. For a wall of this size, typically going into a public space or onto a building facade, a planning notification or consent from the local authority is almost always required – and we help through that process, from the structural documentation to liaising with the authority, so the client does not have to navigate the paperwork alone. The site survey, the engineering design of the support structure, commissioning and training are carried out at this size with exactly the same thoroughness as on all our other projects.

Outdoor LED video wall P3 – 3.8 × 7 m (27 m²) — frequently asked questions

What does the wall cost per square metre?

The exact price per square metre depends on the accessories chosen (support structure, controller, installation site), but we always give a transparent, itemised quote – the mounting, the control and the installation appear on separate lines, with no hidden costs.

Is it available for hire, not only for purchase?

Yes, on larger projects we also offer a hire arrangement, so the client can try the surface out before committing to a long-term investment.

How much does this 27 m² wall consume per month?

Average consumption is around 262 W/m², which across the whole surface means an average load of about 7 kW; at 12 hours of operation a day, that produces a well-plannable, predictable monthly electricity bill.

How long will the wall last, and what is the warranty?

The lifespan of the LED chips is 100,000 operating hours, which even at 10–12 hours of use a day means more than 20 years; we provide a manufacturer's warranty on that and on the complete system, extendable with the Warranty+ package.

Who installs it, and how long does installation take?

We handle the whole process from a single source: site survey, manufacture, installation, commissioning and training. Installing a wall this size typically takes several days depending on the support structure, and we give a precise schedule after the survey.

Is building or public-space consent required?

For a wall of this size, typically going into a public space, a planning notification or a building consent is almost always required; we help with that process and with preparing the necessary structural documentation.
