In short

Five indoor P2 GOB LED poster displays stood side by side, with daisy-chained control, give a single 320 × 192 cm image area: that is 6.144 m², 1600 × 960 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 5:3 (not 16:9). The system can be extended or reduced panel by panel, so its size can be matched to the site. Its weight is 5 × 45 = 225 kg, its theoretical peak power 4 kW and its peak current draw 18 A (calculated), which is why we ask for at least two separate circuits on site. Along the image area of each panel there is 1 cm of frame on each side, so a 2 cm division remains between two neighbouring pictures — a continuous surface, but not a seamless one. The manufacturer publishes no system price for a multi-panel assembly, so we prepare an itemised quote starting from the per-panel price.

GOB LED poster video wall from 5 panels (320 × 192 cm image area)

The poster-based video wall is created by linking five indoor P2 GOB LED poster displays, each with a 640 × 1920 mm image area. The image area is therefore 3200 × 1920 mm, that is 320 × 192 cm (6.144 m²), the system resolution is 1600 × 960 pixels, and the aspect ratio is 5:3 — a landscape format, but not the same as the classic 16:9, so with 16:9 video content either a band remains on each side of the picture or it has to be cropped. The whole structure is 5 × 66 = 330 cm wide, because along the image area of every panel there is 1 cm of frame on each side: between two neighbouring pictures a 2 cm division therefore remains. That gives a continuous surface controlled as a single system, but not a seamless video wall — it is more honest to say so in advance than to explain it afterwards. Because the system is based on the modular poster display, the wall can be extended or reduced panel by panel, and every panel remains usable on its own if they go to separate sites after the event. The figures for one panel: 320 × 960 pixels, a P2 (2.0 mm) pixel pitch, GOB-surface modules, a refresh rate of at least 3,840 Hz, 700–800 nits of brightness, 45 kg, maximum 0.8 kW and 3.6 A.

One video wall from five poster displays — flexible sizing

320 × 192 cm, 1600 × 960 pixels, 5:3 aspect ratio

The essence of the system is that you are not buying a fixed-size, monolithic display but five independent P2 GOB LED poster displays fitted together, which the daisy-chainable control binds into a single image area. That modular build means that if the site or the budget calls for it, the wall can be assembled from fewer panels, or extended later with further ones. The proportions, though, are worth reckoning with in advance: five panels give 320 cm of picture width at 192 cm of height, which is a 5:3 aspect ratio (1.67), not the 16:9 (1.78) of the video standard. A 16:9 video will therefore either appear with a band on each side or have to be cropped. If the content is made for this surface from the outset that is not a problem — you simply need to know about it when producing the content.

Available for hire at events, with quick installation

Because the five panels can be assembled and taken apart quickly, the video wall works well at an event, a conference, a product launch or a corporate gala, including as a hired solution where no permanent installation is needed. Thanks to the minimum 3,840 Hz refresh, photographs and videos taken at the event do not band, which matters if the material from the event is later used for marketing as well. The GOB-surface modules give a more durable, more impact-resistant face, a practical advantage when the equipment is packed regularly. If the panels travel a lot, it is worth asking for a wheeled flight case for all five units: about €390 net per panel.

Power, weight, logistics — the system-level figures

What has to be agreed in advance with five panels

The weight of five panels is 5 × 45 = 225 kg, their theoretical peak power 5 × 0.8 = 4 kW and their peak current draw 5 × 3.6 = 18 A (all three calculated from the manufacturer's per-unit figures). That last number is the most important: 18 A exceeds the rating of a conventional 16 amp circuit breaker, so for a five-panel surface we ask for at least two separate circuits on site. That is the worst case, reckoned with an all-white image at full brightness; real consumption is lower, but the installation has to be sized for the peak. The space required for five panels is 5 × 66 = 330 cm of width and a 45 × 66 cm base per panel, and the height with the castors is 201 cm — because of the latter it is worth measuring the access route (door height, lift) in advance. We check all of this on the site survey before anything is delivered.

Price: why we do not put a system price here

The manufacturer publishes no system price for a multi-panel assembly, so neither do we quote a calculated total — a multiplied-out figure would give the impression of being a list price, which it is not. What we can state: one panel, that is the indoor P2 GOB LED poster display, is about €1,740 net, and about €2,130 net with a flight case; that includes delivery to your address, on-site installation of the control software, training and the manufacturer's full warranty. All figures are indicative and exclusive of VAT. We prepare the itemised quote for a multi-panel surface starting from the per-panel price, once we know the conditions on site — circuits, content source, network, need for movement. If you are thinking in terms of a large continuous image area from the outset, it is worth comparing cabinet LED wall solutions with poster-based expansion as well: the fitting logic is different, the mobility is different, and at larger sizes the price per square metre is typically different too.

GOB LED poster video wall from 5 panels (320 × 192 cm image area) — frequently asked questions

Do all five panels have to be bought, or can a smaller video wall be assembled?

The system is modular, so a smaller video wall can be built from fewer panels and extended later with further ones. Every panel also works on its own if they go to separate sites.

Is the picture really 16:9?

No. The image area of five panels is 320 × 192 cm, which is a 5:3 (1.67) aspect ratio, while 16:9 is 1.78. A 16:9 video will therefore either appear with a band on each side or have to be cropped. If the content is made for this surface from the outset, that is not a problem.

Is a seam visible where the five panels meet?

Yes, but a narrow one. The image area of each panel is 64 cm and the product 66 cm, so 1 cm of frame runs along each side of the picture and a 2 cm division remains between two neighbouring pictures. This is a continuous surface controlled as one system, but not a seamless video wall — it is worth planning the content with that in mind.

How much does the whole five-panel system consume?

The theoretical peak power is 4 kW and the peak current draw 18 A (5 × 0.8 kW and 5 × 3.6 A respectively — calculated from the manufacturer's per-unit figures). Because of the 18 A we ask for at least two separate circuits on site. That is the upper limit; real consumption is lower depending on the content.

What does it cost?

The manufacturer publishes no system price for a multi-panel assembly, so we do not quote a calculated total. One panel — the indoor P2 GOB LED poster display — is about €1,740 net, and about €2,130 net with a flight case (indicative, excluding VAT). For a multi-panel surface we prepare an itemised quote.

What is the warranty, and what if a panel is damaged in transit?

The manufacturer's data sheet promises a full warranty without a specific duration — so we do not write a number of years down. Because of the modular build, a damaged 16 × 32 cm module or a damaged panel can be dealt with on its own rather than the whole system. For regular transport we recommend a flight case per panel.
