The sensor makes it possible to detect in good time when the temperature rises above the normal range, so a more serious failure — or even a shortening of the wall's service life — can be prevented. The measured value can be used for a simple alert or display, and on more complex systems an automatic protective intervention can also be configured. Installation calls for no particular expertise: the sensor is a compact unit that has to be fixed in the space behind the wall or near the module panel, then wired to the controller.
