In short

The 3.8 × 7 metre, 27 square metre P2.5 LED video wall is the largest size available from us, and because of the sparser pixel pitch it can be delivered at up to 15–25% less than the identically sized P2 sibling. It is ideal for flagship event venues, large sports halls and conference centres, where viewers typically watch the display from 4–6 metres or more, so the difference in pixel density is imperceptible in practice. With a refresh rate above 6000 Hz the wall is camera-safe, so it can also be deployed as a backdrop for live relay. At this surface area a free site survey is always a compulsory element for us, because the size of the support structure and the power feed also determines the security of the investment.

Indoor LED video wall P2.5 – 3.8 × 7 m (27 m²)

The 380×700 cm P2.5 wall is the largest size we have available, and thanks to the sparser pixel pitch it can be delivered at a better price than the P2 sibling. We recommend it for large sports halls, conference centres and prestige event venues, where viewers typically watch the display from several metres away, so the difference in pixel density is effectively imperceptible while the saving can be significant. Thanks to the modular build, the manufacture, delivery and on-site assembly of the 27 square metre surface is a well-scheduled, predictable process. Every cabinet comes from a factory batch of identical colour settings, so the wall's colour uniformity is perfect from the moment it is switched on, with no patches and no differences in shade.

A vast surface, an optimised investment

A 27 square metre surface provides an imposing presence in any large space in its own right, whether a sports hall, a conference centre or a prestige event venue. When viewers typically watch the display from several metres away, a P2.5 pixel pitch gives the same experience as the denser P2 build in every practical respect, while the total cost of the investment works out more favourably. That combination makes this size and pixel pitch one of the most popular choices on large-scale projects where size and spectacle are the primary considerations and the budget is also an important factor in the decision. With a wall this size the decision is not purely technical: the geometry of the room, the curve of the stands and the lighting conditions all affect whether the final image really works as planned.

Delivery and long-term operation

At this surface area the site survey and the design of the support structure and the electrical supply are decisive, just as with the P2 sibling. The modular cabinet build again allows manufacture, delivery and installation in segments, which speeds up delivery and simplifies future maintenance. Wi-Fi or LAN based control, the timer function and the built-in effects give the same convenient, centralised management as on the P2 build, while the 100,000-hour lifespan guarantees that a large-scale investment serves reliably over the long term under regular, intensive use. At 8–10 hours of daily operation, that lifespan means 25–30 years in reserve, far beyond the time an events centre or a sports venue keeps a single generation of technology.

Quality and reliability across 27 square metres

On a wall this size, made up of many cabinets, the greatest risk is not the quality of the LED chip but batch uniformity: if the modules come from different production runs, visible banding or patches of colour difference can appear across the surface of the wall. We rule that out by selecting the modules for the whole 27 m² from a single production batch, then testing every cabinet individually before acceptance. We supply parts – power supplies, controller cards, modules – from stock, so replacing a failed element takes minutes rather than weeks, since the cabinets can also be opened from the front without tools. This service backing is especially important at institutions where there is no room for a lengthy repair on the day of an event or a match.

Operation and training

Despite the size, running the wall requires no IT qualification: the interface of the Wi-Fi or LAN based control software is as simple as a presentation program, and the timer switches the wall on and off automatically according to the schedule set. At handover we always hold on-site training for the future operators, so that uploading content, regulating brightness and basic troubleshooting go confidently from day one. Consumption averages around 147 W/m² with real content, which across 27 m² at 8 hours of daily operation comes to roughly 950–1,000 kWh a month – a well-plannable, predictable item in the energy budget of a facility of this scale.

Indoor LED video wall P2.5 – 3.8 × 7 m (27 m²) — frequently asked questions

How much better value is this build than a P2 wall of the same size?

The exact saving depends on the project, but at a surface area of 27 m² a P2.5 pixel pitch typically results in a 15–25% cost reduction for the same size, since it requires fewer LED chips and modules.

From what viewing distance are this size and pixel pitch recommended?

In large spaces where the audience typically watches the display from 4–6 metres or more – in a sports hall or the main hall of a conference centre, for example – the P2.5 build is the optimal choice.

Can a site survey be requested for this size before purchase?

Yes. On projects of this scale a free site survey is always a compulsory element for us, in order to agree the support structure, the electrical supply and the precise installation schedule.

How long does it take to replace a failed module across 27 m²?

Since every cabinet can be opened from the front without tools, replacing a module takes 10–15 minutes, and because we supply parts from stock there is no waiting weeks for a replacement.

What warranty and service backing do I get on an investment of this size?

We provide a factory warranty on both the wall and the modules, and the Warranty+ package can also extend the service window and the response time. Servicing and spare parts supply are handled regionally – there is no waiting on another country for a repair.

How long does the wall last under intensive daily use?

The expected lifespan of the LEDs is 100,000 operating hours, which even at 8–10 hours of daily use means 25–30 years in reserve, given proper brightness calibration and management of operating time.
